Il corso è organizzato in 22 lezioni frontali di contenuto sia teorico che pratico.
Qualora sia esplicitamente richiesto dal Consiglio del Corso di Studi, le lezioni a contenuto teorico saranno erogate anche in streaming mediante collegamento via Teams (modalità telematica sincrona).
Il corso costituisce uno dei due moduli del corso di Elementi di Economia Circolare. L'altro modulo (Elementi di Economia del Benessere) si svolgerà sincronicamente.
The course is organised in 22 frontal lessons of both theoretical and practical content.
If explicitly requested by the Degree Council, the lessons with theoretical content will also be provided in streaming via Teams connection (synchronous telematic mode).
The course constitutes one of the two modules of the course Elements of Circular Economics. The other module (Elements of Welfare Economics) will take place synchronously.
Alla fine del corso gli studenti avranno conoscenza delle teorie che discutono ed identificano il ruolo e gli ambiti di intervento dello Stato e le conseguenze di tali interventi per il benessere sociale con particolare riferimento alle questioni ambientali.
Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.
Alla fine del corso gli studenti saranno in grado di analizzare i problemi relativi all’economia del benessere e di commentarli in termini di scelte collettive.
Competenze trasversali.
Il corso si propone, anche attraverso la discussione di casi concreti ed esercitazioni, di far comprendere agli studenti le principali problematiche che caratterizzano il funzionamento dei mercati e l’intervento dello Stato nell’economia favorendo lo sviluppo delle abilità di problem solving e lavoro in team.
Knowledge and Understanding.
At the end of the course students will acquire the knowledge of theories which discuss and identify the role, and the areas of State intervention and their consequences for social well-being with specific reference to the environmental issues.
Capacity to apply Knowledge and Understanding.
At the end of the course the students will be able to analyze the problems relative to the wellbeing and to comment these in terms of collective choices.
Transversal Skills.
The course is aimed, also by discussing of actual cases with practical exercises, helping students understand the problems that characterize the functioning of markets and the intervention of the State in the economy with the teaching goal of favoring problem solving skills and team –work.
Il corso costituisce una introduzione alla studio dell’economia del benessere. I temi affrontati sono i seguenti: 1) Introduzione all’economia del benessere; 2) Preferenze individuali e preferenze sociali; 3) Il criterio paretiano e la scatola di Edgeworth; 4) Funzione del Benessere sociale e costruzione di un ordinamento sociale; 5) I Teoremi dell'Economia del Benessere; 6) I fallimenti del mercato; 7) Il problema del costo sociale; 8) Il problema dell'optimal provision; 9) La ratio delle politiche ambientali;
10) Valutazione dei beni non di mercato.
The course is an introduction to the study of well-being economics with the following themes: 1) Introduction to wellbeing economics; 2) Individual preferences and social preferences; 3) The Pareto criterion and the Edgeworth box; 4) Social Welfare Function and construction of a social order; 5) Theorems of Welfare Economics; 6) Market failures; 7) The problem of social cost; 8) The problem of optimal provision; 9) The ratio of environmental policies; 10) Non-market good evaluation.
L'esame è scritto e interamente svolto online attraverso la piattaforma
elearning del corso.
L'esame è diviso in due parti. La valutazione finale risulterà dalla somma
della valutazione delle due parti.
Per gli di studenti con disabilità/invalidità o disturbo specifico di
apprendimento (DSA), che abbiano fatto debita richiesta di supporto per
affrontare lo specifico esame di profitto all’Info Point Disabilità/DSA
dell’Ateneo, le modalità di esame saranno adattate alla luce di quanto
previsto dalle linee guida di Ateneo

Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.
La prima parte dell'esame consiste in alcune domande a risposta aperta
sulle diverse parti del programma. La risposta alla domanda dovrebbe
dimostrare la comprensione da parte dello studente dei concetti chiave
del corso nonchè la sua capacità di elaborare valutazioni e considerazioni
autonome. La seconda parte dell'esame consiste in un test a risposta
multipla. Ogni domanda del test vuole verificare il grado di conoscenza
dello studente delle specifiche nozioni proposte nel corso.
Criteri di misurazione dell'apprendimento.
Nella prima parte dell'esame, la risposta ad ogni domanda a risposta
aperta verrà valutata con un punteggio da 0 a 6. Nella seconda parte
dell'esame, ciascuna domanda del test prevede un'attribuzione di 2 punti
nel caso di risposta corretta, di 0 punti nel caso di risposta errata.
Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.
Il voto finale di esame risulterà dalla somma dell'esito delle due parti, con
un valore massimo di 18/30 della prima parte ed un massimo di 12/30
della seconda. L'esame risulterà superato se il voto finale complessivo
sarà almeno di 18/30. In caso di raggiungimento del punteggio di 30/30
sarà possibile l'assegnazione della Lode per prove di elevata qualità.
Learning Evaluation Methods.
The exam is written and entirely done online through the elearning
course platform. The exam is divided in two parts. The final evaluation
will result from the sum of the evaluation of the two parts.
For students with disabilities or Specific Learning Disability (SLD) who
have contacted the University Disability/SLD Info Point to request support
for the specific curricular exam, please note that the way the exam is
taken can be adapted in accordance with the University Guidelines
(https://www.univpm.it/Entra/Accoglienza_diversamente_abili).
Learning Evaluation Criteria.
The first part of the exam consists of some open-ended questions on the
several parts of the program. The response to the questions is expected
to demonstrate the student’s understanding of the key concepts but also
their capacity of elaborating autonomous evaluations and judgments.
The second part consists of a closed-ended test. Each
question aims at assessing the student’s degree of knowledge on very
specific parts of the course.
Learning Measurement Criteria.
In the first part of the exam, each of the open-ended question will
receive an evaluation ranging between 0 and 6. In the second part of the
exam, any question of the test admits four possible answers. One of them
is the correct answer and will receive an evaluation of 2 points. The
remaining answers are wrong and will receive an evaluation of 0
points.
Final Mark Allocation Criteria.
The final grade will be the sum of the evaluations of the two parts. For
the exam to be passed, the final grade must achieve at least 18/30. The
first part of the exam will be attributed a maximum of 18
points. The second part will be attributed a maximum of 12 points. For
exams of very high quality the “cum laude” will be added to the 30/30
evaluation.
