Useful for this course basic knowledge of Arboriculture, Agronomy and Fruitculture.
Il corso è organizzato con lezioni frontali, utilizzando presentazioni in power point (disponibili nel sistema e-learning prima di ogni lezione) (4 CFU), esercitazioni in laboratorio e uscite didattiche presso aziende frutticole florovivaistiche con orientamento sociale (2 CFU).
Il corso è impartito anche in modalità e-learning utilizzando la piattaforma Moodle. All’interno di tale piattaforma sono disponibili: il materiale didattico strutturato in unità di apprendimento, i risultati del test di valutazione e informazioni varie.
The course is organized on powerpoint lectures (available in the e-learning system before each lesson) (4 ECTS), laboratory exercises and guided tours at social farms (2 ECTS).
The course will be also available on e-learning system, using the Moodle platform. Within this platform will be available: teaching materials composed by different learning units, the results of evaluation test and various information.
L’insegnamento permette agli studenti di acquisire adeguate conoscenze sulla capacità di analisi delle scelte che interessano la filiera di produzione frutticola, floricola e vivaistica all’interno di aziende con un orientamento sociale.
Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.
L’insegnamento si propone di introdurre gli studenti alle problematiche della coltivazione di alcune specie da frutto (piccoli frutti e fragola), coltivazione floricole e vivaismo ornamentale.
Competenze trasversali.
a) autonomia di giudizio: individuare le informazioni necessarie per gestire le principali scelte nell’organizzazione delle produzioni frutticole, floricole e vivaistiche; (ii) trasferire in modo chiaro ed esauriente informazioni, idee, problemi e relative soluzioni tecniche a interlocutori, specialisti e non, rappresentativi delle diverse e specifiche competenze coinvolte nella gestione di un’azienda che opera nel sociale (psicologi, operatori sociali ecc.).
Knowledge and Understanding.
The course enables students to acquire adequate knowledge on the analytical capabilities of the choices affecting the production chain of fruit, floriculture and nurseries within farms with a social orientation.
Capacity to apply Knowledge and Understanding.
The aim of the course are to introduce students to the problems of cultivation of small fruit species (soft fruits and strawberry), floriculture cultivation and ornamental nurseries.
Transversal Skills.
(i) making judgements: capability of identify the information needed to manage the main decision in the organization of horticultural productions, floriculture and nursery; (ii) communications: capability of clearly and exhaustively communicate notions, ideas, problems and technical solutions to interlocutors, either professional or not, representative of the various and specific competencies involved in the management a farm that operates in the social (psychologists, social operators etc.).
Il corso illustra le caratteristiche fondamentali del settore frutticolo e florovivaistico esaminando alcuni casi-studio relativi alle specie frutticole e floricole coltivate in serra e/o in campo.
Verranno illustrati i cicli di produzione e tecnica colturale dei piccoli frutti (Fragola, Lampone, Mirtillo, Rovo ecc.) in pieno campo e in coltura protetta programmata (2 CFU).
I cicli di produzione riguardanti alcune specie floricole (Crisantemo, Lilium ecc.) e vivaistiche (Alloro, Oleandro, Pittosporo, ecc.) maggiormente coltivate nella Regione Marche (3 CFU).
Gestione dell’irrigazione e della fertirrigazione in coltura in suolo, serra e contenitore (1 CFU).
Sono previste inoltre esercitazioni sulla propagazione delle specie trattate.
Sono previste visite guidate presso aziende frutticole e florovivaistiche.
The course explains the basic characteristics of the fruit growing and nurseries gardening examining some case studies related to fruit and flower species grown in greenhouse and / or open field.
Production cycles and cultivation technique of small berry fruits (strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry etc.) in the open field and under greenhouse will be showed (2 ECTS).
Furthermore, production cycles regarding certain species of flowers (Chrysanthemum L., Lilium etc.) and nursery plants (Laurus nobilis, Nerium oleander, Pittosporum tobira, etc.) most cultivated in the Marche Region will be explained (3 ECTS).
Management of irrigation and fertigation in soil, greenhouse and pots culture will be described (1 ECTS).
Practical tutorials on the propagation of the treated species will be also planned.
Guided visits to fruit farms and nurseries in the Marche Region will be available.
La valutazione finale sarà basata su un test scritto (facoltativo) e/o prova orale.
Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.
Lo studente nel corso dell’esame dovrà possedere una conoscenza i) sulle specie trattate nel corso ii) identificare le specie di interesse frutticolo e florovivaistico più idonee alla coltivazione, comprendendo la scelta delle varietà in relazione all’ambiente pedo-climatico, alla struttura aziendale e alla destinazione del prodotto;
Lo studente, nel corso della prova orale, dovrà dimostrare di possedere una complessiva conoscenza dei contenuti, esposti in maniera sufficientemente corretta con utilizzo di adeguata terminologia tecnica, e di essere in grado di affrontare ragionamenti deduttivi che gli consentano di realizzare opportuni collegamenti all'interno della materia e di averne acquisito una completa padronanza.
Criteri di misurazione dell'apprendimento.
Attribuzione del voto finale in trentesimi. L’esame si intende superato quando il voto è maggiore o uguale a 18. È prevista l’assegnazione del massimo dei voti con lode (30 e lode).
Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.
La prova scritta (facoltativa) comprenderà 20 domande a risposta aperta sugli argomenti trattati e ad ogni domanda verrà attribuito un punteggio massimo di 10 punti. Il voto finale dello scritto verrà espresso in trentesimi.
La prova orale sarà articolata su tre quesiti principali, ognuno dei quali sarà valutabile con un punteggio variabile fra 0 e 10 punti. La lode verrà attribuita agli studenti che, avendo conseguito la valutazione massima, abbiano dimostrato la completa padronanza della materia.
Qualora lo studente intenda sostenere entrambe le prove (scritto e orale) il voto finale deriverà dalla media dei due risultati espresso in trentesimi.
Learning Evaluation Methods.
Test final examination will be based a written test (optional) and/or oral examination.
Learning Evaluation Criteria.
The student in the course will have to possess the following knowledge i) the fruit tree species explained during the course ii) identify the species most suitable for fruitcultural and horticultural interest cultivation, including the choice of varieties that corresponds to the soil and climate, the corporate structure and destination of the product.
The students, during the oral test, will have to demonstrate an overall knowledge of the contents, using appropriate technical terminology and to be able to handle with deductive reasoning that enable him to create links within matter, and to have acquired a complete mastery of discipline.
Learning Measurement Criteria.
The final mark is attributed in thirtieths. Successful completion of the examination will lead to grades ranging from 18 to 30 “cum laude”.
Final Mark Allocation Criteria.
The written test (optional) consists of 20 open-ended questions about the topics, for each one questions will be evaluated with score maximum of 10 point. The final result of the written test will be expressed in thirtieths.
The oral examination consists of three questions concerning the subjects listed in the teaching program, each of ones will be quantified in the range 0 - 10. The degree of 30 “cum laude” is attributed when the student demonstrates complete mastery of the subject.
If the student wants to perform both tests (written and oral), the final grade will result from the average of the two results expressed in thirtieths.
