Basic knowledge of the physiology of the respiratory, cardio-circulatory and central nervous system, peripheral and neurovegetative
Know how to manage and deal with critical situations in order to guarantee the support of vital functions and their recovery in the intra- and extra-hospital emergency.
The course aims to provide students with the theoretical and practical basis for the management of possible medical emergencies, their treatment on the basis of a primary and secondary evaluation. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques are taught

Overview of general, local and regional anesthesia
The assessment of learning will take place by means of a written test, consisting of 35 multiple choice questions of a theoretical nature (15 relating to the part of Internal Medicine, 10 of Emergencies and 10 of Pharmacology), among those carried out in class and contained in the material provided to the students. In case of negative result of a test, the student will repeat all three tests. The exam lasts 2 hours.
Correctness and completeness in the performance of the exercises contained in the practical test.
For each question that has been answered correctly, has not been answered or answered incorrectly, a score of 1, 0 or -0.25, respectively, is assigned. In order for the task to be considered sufficient, it is necessary to correctly answer at least 21 questions (9 for the part of Internal Medicine, 6 for Emergencies and 6 for Pharmacology).
The overall vote, expressed in thirtieths, is given by the arithmetic average, rounded up to the whole, by the sum of the scores obtained in the three parts, provided they are both sufficient. Otherwise the proof is "Insufficient". The overall grade required to pass the exam is 18 points. The award is given to the student who has obtained the score greater than or equal to 30. The final mark is established following a comparison between the members of the Examining Board jointly assessing the results of the written test.
