Le esercitazioni frontali in aula organizzate dal CSAL mirano a migliorare la conoscenza della lingua inglese degli studenti per quanto riguarda la comprensione della lettura, l’ascolto, la conversazione e la pronuncia, portando gli studenti ad un livello intermedio di conoscenza (B1 +).
Face to face classroom lessons organized by CSAL. The English course aims to improve the students’ English language skills regarding reading comprehension, listening, speaking and pronunciation, bringing the students to an intermediate level of knowledge (B1+).
Gli studenti apprenderanno le competenze linguistiche che consentano di comprendere il significato generale di vari tipi di testi scritti e di riconoscere i contenuti significativi di documenti sia generali che inerenti al campo dell’economia.
Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.
Gli studenti dovranno essere in grado di comprendere il significato generale ed informazioni specifiche di una varietà di testi, e devono essere in grado di leggere rapidamente ed efficientemente.
Competenze trasversali.
Le esercitazioni individuali e di gruppo, sia scritte che orali, che si svolgeranno durante il corso, consentiranno agli studenti di avere gli strumenti adatti per migliorare la loro capacità di comprensione e la loro autonomia di espressione in inglese soprattutto nel campo del loro lavoro futuro.
Knowledge and Understanding.
The students will learn the language skills that enable them to understand the general meaning of various types of written text and to recognize the main points in both general and subject-specific documents related to economics.
Capacity to apply Knowledge and Understanding.
The students must be able to get the gist as well as find specific information when reading a variety of texts and be able to read quickly and efficiently.
Transversal Skills.
Individual and group exercises, both written and oral, to be held during the course, will allow the students to improve their understanding and their fluency in English, especially in the field of their future work.

Il grado di conoscenza acquisito sarà valutato di norma attraverso un test su PC.
Per gli di studenti con disabilità/invalidità o disturbo specifico di apprendimento (DSA), che abbiano fatto debita richiesta di supporto per affrontare lo specifico esame di profitto all’Info Point Disabilità/DSA dell’Ateneo. Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.
La prova è composta da due parti: Riempimento di spazi vuoti (10 domande) e Lettura (5 domande).
Criteri di misurazione dell'apprendimento.
Il voto finale è attribuito in trentesimi. L’esame si intende superato quando il voto è maggiore o uguale a 18. È prevista l’assegnazione del massimo dei voti con lode (30 e lode).
Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.
Il voto finale verrà calcolato in base ai voti assegnati alle varie abilità, con focus specifico al linguaggio tecnico.
Learning Evaluation Methods.
The students’ knowledge will be tested via a computer-based test.
For students with disabilities or Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) who have contacted the University Disability/SLD Info Point to request support for the specific curricular exam, please note that the way the exam is taken can be adapted in accordance with the University Guidelines (https://www.univpm.it/Entra/Accoglienza_diversamente_abili).
Learning Evaluation Criteria.
The computer-based test has 2 sections: Cloze Test (10 questions); and Reading (5 questions).
Learning Measurement Criteria.
The final score is a result out of 30, with 18/30 being the minimum pass mark. The maximum score of 30/30 may be given with honours (“cum laude”).
Final Mark Allocation Criteria.
The final mark will be calculated by taking into consideration the marks of all the separate skills, and there will be a focus on business language.
