Conoscenze di base di matematica e fisica.
Basic knowledge of mathematics and physics
The integrated course is composed by a module of General Chemistry (8 CFU, 64 ore) at the first semester and a module of Organic Chemistry (7 CFU, 56 ore) at the second semester. A teaching support activity including educational material on the theoretical lectures, exercises, examples of examination tasks will be flanked to the front course. Attendance to the course although it is not mandatory, is strongly recommended.
At the end of the course, the student will have acquired knowledge on the main theoretical aspects of General and Organic Chemistry.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to elaborate and support arguments on the theoretical principles of General Chemistry and on the main classes of compounds of the Organic Chemistry.
The study of the main principles of General and Organic Chemistry will let the student acquire a correct use of the chemical language and improve his/her communication skills. Furthermore, at the end of the course, the student will also be able to apply the knowledge acquired in the course of Chemistry to other courses, such as Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, etc.
