Basic concepts of business economics: legal and organizational forms of firms; structure and analysis of income and financial statements.
Il corso è basato su lezioni frontali, seminari e lavori di gruppo per l’analisi di casi.
The course is based on lectures, seminars and group work for the analysis of case studies.
Al termine del corso gli studenti avranno acquisto adeguate conoscenze su: a) i principi e il quadro di riferimento europeo dell’economia circolare e della sua applicazione in specifici contesti d’impresa e d’industria; b) la gestione dell'innovazione dei prodotti e dei processi in ottica di economia circolare, con particolare riguardo all'industria manifatturiera.
Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.
Gli studenti svilupperanno la capacità di applicare i concetti, i metodi e gli strumenti appresi durante il corso in diversi contesti aziendali e settoriali.
Lo studente sarà in grado di formulare strategie e piani di innovazione nell’ambito dell’economia circolare in funzione degli specifici contesti d’impresa e di mercato, dimostrando la capacità di applicare le conoscenze acquisite nella comprensione dei problemi e nella proposta di soluzioni innovative orientate alla sostenibilità.
Gli studenti avranno acquisito la capacità di approfondire in modo autonomo le principali tematiche della disciplina, tenuto conto della sua rapida evoluzione.
Competenze trasversali.
Al termine del corso gli studenti saranno in grado di acquisire, elaborare e utilizzare i dati e le informazioni necessari alla comprensione dei problemi e allo sviluppo di progetti di economia circolare in piena autonomia. Sarà favorita la capacità di lavoro in team attraverso lo svolgimento di lavori di gruppo. Saranno sviluppate capacità relazionali attraverso l’interazione con imprenditori e manager d’impresa e la presentazione dei risultati dei lavori in forma individuale e di gruppo.
Knowledge and Understanding.
At the end of the course, students will have acquired adequate knowledge on: a) the principles and the European reference framework of the circular economy and its application in specific business and industrial contexts; b) the management of product and process innovation from a circular economy perspective, with particular regard to the manufacturing industry.
Capacity to apply Knowledge and Understanding.
Students will develop the ability to apply the concepts, methods and tools learned during the course in different business and sectoral contexts.
The student will be able to design and implement innovation strategies and plans in the circular economy according to specific business and market contexts, demonstrating the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in understanding problems and in proposing innovative solutions to sustainability.
Students will have acquired the ability to autonomously explore the main topics of the discipline, taking into account its rapid evolution.
Transversal Skills.
At the end of the course, students will be able to acquire, process and use the data and information necessary to understand the problems and develop circular economy projects independently. The ability to work in teams will be fostered by carrying out group work. Relational skills will be developed through interaction with entrepreneurs and business managers and the presentation of the results of the work individually and in groups.

La valutazione del livello di apprendimento degli studenti è effettuata con tre prove:
1. una prova scritta, consistente nella risposta a 5/6 domande aperte sugli argomenti trattati nel corso;
2. la consegna e la presentazione di un elaborato relativo ad un caso studio o ad uno specifico argomento
3. una prova orale, consistente nella discussione dei risultati della prova scritta e di eventuali ulteriori domande relative agli argomenti
trattati nel corso. La prova orale è facoltativa.
La prova scritta è propedeutica alla prova orale, per accedere alla quale lo studente deve aver ottenuto almeno la sufficienza nella
prova scritta. In caso di esito negativo della prova orale, lo studente deve ripetere anche la prova scritta.
Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.
Per superare con esito positivo la valutazione dell'apprendimento lo studente deve dimostrare, attraverso le prove prima descritte, di aver compreso i concetti esposti durante il corso. Deve inoltre dimostrare di saper risolvere semplici esercizi relativi a contesti decisionali d'impresa nell'ambito delle decisioni relative alle scelte di sostenibilità e economia circolare. La valutazione avverrà sulla base dei seguenti criteri: a) completezza ed esattezza delle risposte; b) sviluppo logico degli argomenti; c) utilizzo della terminologia appropriata.
Criteri di misurazione dell'apprendimento.
Ad ognuna delle domande della prova scritta è attribuito un punteggio che è funzione della difficoltà e complessità della risposta. La somma dei punti attribuiti alle domande e pari a 20. I restanti 10 punti saranno attribuiti all’elaborato e alla sua presentazione.
Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.
Il voto finale è il risultato della somma dei punteggi della prova scritta, dell’elaborato e dell'eventuale integrazione con la prova orale. Affinché l'esito complessivo della valutazione sia positivo, lo studente deve conseguire almeno la sufficienza, pari a diciotto punti, nel complesso delle due prove. La valutazione massima è raggiunta dimostrando una conoscenza approfondita dei contenuti del corso nell'ambito delle due prove. La lode è riservata agli studenti che, avendo svolto tutte le prove in modo corretto e completo, dimostrino una particolare eccellenza nella esposizione orale e nel compito scritto.
Learning Evaluation Methods.
The assessment of the students' learning level is carried out with three tests:
1. a written test, consisting of the answer to 5/6 open questions on the topics covered in the course;
2. the delivery and presentation of a paper relating to a case study or a specific topic
3. an oral test, consisting in the discussion of the results of the written test and any further questions relating to the topics
developed in the course. The oral exam is optional.
The written test is preparatory to the oral test, to access which the student must have obtained at least the sufficiency in
written test. In the event of a negative outcome of the oral exam, the student must also repeat the written exam.
Learning Evaluation Criteria.
o successfully pass the learning assessment, the students must demonstrate, through the tests described above, that they have understood the concepts presented during the course. They must also demonstrate the ability to solve simple exercises relating to business decision-making contexts in the context of decisions relating to sustainability and circular economy choices. The evaluation will take place on the basis of the following criteria: a) completeness and accuracy of the answers; b) logical development of arguments; c) use of appropriate terminology.
Learning Measurement Criteria.
Each of the questions in the written test is assigned a score which is a function of the difficulty and complexity of the answer. The sum of the points attributed to the questions is equal to 20. The remaining 10 points will be attributed to the paper and its presentation.
Final Mark Allocation Criteria.
The final mark is the result of the sum of the scores of the written test, of the paper and of any integration with the oral test. In order for the overall outcome of the evaluation to be positive, the student must obtain at least the sufficiency, equal to eighteen points, in the complex of the two tests. The maximum evaluation is achieved by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the course contents in the context of the two tests. Honors are reserved to students who, having carried out all the tests correctly and completely, demonstrate particular excellence in the oral exposition and in the written assignment
