The course aims to provide a sociological understanding of the implications of the 4th digital revolution from the perspective of the sociology of organization and some analytical tools to analyze and interpret organizational systems in this new scenario.
The course is organized on two levels, the understanding of theories, models and analytical tools and the ability to apply them to concrete situations and organizational cases. The course aims at improving students' ability to critically analyze organizations and organizational behaviors in the wake of the digital revolution. Students are expected to be able to carry out an articulated analysis of the organizational phenomenon.
The analysis of case studies, the comparisons and discussions that will take place during the course, as well as exercises conducted both individually and in small groups, aim at strengthening the following transversal skills: communicative, learning, ability to work in groups, autonomy of judgment and a critical perspective.
