L’insegnamento permette agli studenti di acquisire le conoscenze fondamentali sulla fisiopatologia delle vie aeree-digestive superiori e delle riabilitazioni protesiche orali. Contestualmente fornisce agli studenti la comprensione di base delle fondamentali metodiche diagnostiche e dei principali protocolli terapeutici-riabilitativi del cavo orale e delle patologie delle vie aeree-digestive superiori
Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.
Le conoscenze acquisite permetteranno un iniziale approccio diagnostico e terapeutico-riabilitativo delle patologie del cavo orale e delle vie aeree-digestive superiori.
Competenze trasversali.
L'autonomia di giudizio viene sviluppata incentivando la formulazione di ipotesi e giudizi personali per risolvere problemi analitici posti durante la didattica frontale. Allo stesso modo l’attenzione posta alla proprietà di linguaggio ed al rigore terminologico favorirà lo sviluppo delle capacità comunicative. Le capacità di apprendimento vengono sviluppate favorendo attività di riflessione ed elaborazione di tematiche affrontate nello svolgimento del corso
Knowledge and Understanding.
The course allows students to acquire fundamental knowledge on the pathophysiology of the oral cavity and the upper air-digestive tract and of oral prosthetic rehabilitations. At the same time, it provides students with a basic understanding of the fundamental diagnostic methods and the main therapeutic-rehabilitative protocols of the oral cavity and of the pathologies of upper air-digestive tracts.
Capacity to apply Knowledge and Understanding.
The knowledge acquired will allow an initial diagnostic and therapeutic-rehabilitative approach to pathologies of the oral cavity and upper air-digestive tracts.
Transversal Skills.
The autonomy of judgment is developed both through the formulation proper diagnostic hypotheses and personal judgments to solve the problems during the frontal lessons. The most appropriate treatment for the patient. In the same way, the attention given to language skills and proper terminology promotes the development of communication skills. Learning skills are developed through reflection on themes discussed in the course.

Per gli studenti con disabilità e DSA, su richiesta dello studente, le modalità di esame potranno essere adottate alla luce di quanto previsto dalle linee guida di ateneo.
Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.
Lo studente dovrà dimostrare di aver acquisito le conoscenze fondamentali sulla fisiopatologia delle patologie delle vie aeree digestive superiori e sulle tecniche riabilitative orali protesiche
Criteri di misurazione dell'apprendimento.
Il voto finale è attribuito in trentesimi. L’esame si intende superato quando il voto finale è maggiore o uguale a 18.
Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.
Il voto finale viene attribuito sommando i punteggi ottenuti sulle singole domande e quello della prova orale. La lode viene attribuita quando il punteggio ottenuto dalla precedente somma raggiunga il valore di 30 e contemporaneamente lo studente abbia dimostrato piena padronanza della materia
Learning Evaluation Methods.
Written test of 3 questions with open answers followed by an oral test.
At the student request, the test can be adapted in the light of University guideline provisions for all students with disabilities.
Learning Evaluation Criteria.
The student must demonstrate that he has acquired the fundamental knowledge of the pathophysiology of upper digestive airway pathologies and prosthetic oral rehabilitation techniques
Learning Measurement Criteria.
The final mark is given out of thirty. The exam is considered passed when the final grade is greater than or equal to 18.
Final Mark Allocation Criteria.
The final grade is given by adding the scores obtained on the individual questions. Honors are awarded when the score obtained from the previous sum reaches the value of 30 and at the same time the student has demonstrated full mastery of the subject.
