Basic knowledge of mathematics and geometry.
Lezioni frontali (30 ore) mediante presentazioni PowerPoint.
Front lectures (30 hours) by PowerPoint presentations.
At the end of the course the student should be able to know the fundamentals of metrology, the working principal of the main electrical and electronical components, as well as of the main sensors/transducers.
At the end of the course, the student should have matured, with reference to the topics covered in the program, the ability to critically understand the measurement phenomena involved, the measurement instrumentation and the sensor/transducers .
Understanding the measurement aspects at the basis of the main instrumentation will enable the student to develop critical skills and autonomy of judgment, which are fundamental qualities in the professional field.

The exam consists of three questions on the course programme.
The questions of the exam will be structured in such a way that the student proves to know, in a critical and not exclusively mnemonic way, the topics of the program, as well as to be able to solve simple exercises autonomously.
The vote obtained, out of thirty, if equal to or higher than 18/30, will average with the one obtained in the other modules of the Integrated Course, for the determination of the final overall vote.
Each question will be evaluated with a maximum of 30/30. The final score will be calculated as the average of the scores from the three questions. If one question will receive less than 18/30, the exam is interrupted.
