For a full understanding of the course, it is useful a prior basic knowledge of the European Union, its institutions and their functioning. For that purpose, a first module of the e-Learning couse provides links to selected pages of the European Union’s portal.

The overall objective of the course is to analyze the Common Agricultural Policy.
At the end of the course students will be trained to address the problems related to the definition and implementation of European agricultural policy. On these issues they will be able to write short reports and navigate the main online information.
Through the study of the CAP, the course also aims to introduce the student to the European Union and its institutions.

Exam
The exam consists of a written test with open questions. The assessment will take account of all the
activities done during the lessons and using the materials uploaded into the e-learning platform.
All activities carried out by the student during the course concur with the final exam to the individual assessment.

The final mark is awarded out of 30. The exam is passed when the grade is greater than or equal to 18. The best students are awarded 30 cum laude.
