Knowledge of the subject of the Civil Protection Legislation
Sono previste sia lezioni teoriche (6 crediti, 48 ore) che la partecipazione ad esercitazioni/eventi in ambito protezione civile. Alcune lezioni teoriche vengono predisposte e presentate anche con l’ausilio di esperti di protezione civile. Ogni anno, inoltre, viene richiesto agli studenti, organizzati in piccoli gruppi o individualmente, di preparare relazioni su tematiche di protezione civile.
There are both theoretical lessons (6 credits, 48 hours) and participation in civil protection exercises. Some theoretical lessons are prepared and presented also with the help of civil protection experts. Each year students are also asked to organize reports on civil protection issues, organized in small groups or individually.
L’insegnamento permette agli studenti di acquisire le conoscenze fondamentali sulla teoria e sulla metodologia di intervento su cui fonda il proprio operato il sistema della protezione civile nella gestione delle emergenze, con particolare riferimento alle peculiarità caratterizzanti le differenti componenti del soccorso e alle attività di pianificazione dell’emergenza propedeutiche agli interventi stessi.
Contestualmente fornisce agli studenti le conoscenze relative: alle principali problematiche legate a differenti scenari di rischio, naturali ed antropici (sismico, idrogeologico, industriale, NBCR/nucleare, biologico, chimico, radiologico, lotta AntIncendio Boschivo, trasporti, .), alle più rilevanti e caratterizzanti attività di protezione civile (quali l’informazione alla popolazione, la resilienza, le procedure di allertamento, la formazione e l’addestramento) e al Meccanismo Unionale di Protezione Civile europeo.
Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.
Lo studente dovrà acquisire la seguente abilità professionalizzante: capacità di effettuare analisi degli eventi emergenziali, per comprendere quali tipologie di attività mettere concretamente in campo nella fase di emergenza, sulla base delle conoscenze acquisite, e tenuto conto che ogni emergenza presuppone una propria magnitudo che si manifesta con caratteristiche di volta in volta differenti.
Competenze trasversali.
Il confronto con esperti di protezione civile e la stesura di relazioni contribuiscono a migliorare sia la capacità di apprendimento e di giudizio in autonomia, sia la capacità comunicativa che deriva anche dal lavoro in gruppo.
Knowledge and Understanding.
Teaching allows students to acquire basic knowledge of the theory and methodology of intervention on which the civil protection system is based in emergency management, with particular reference to the peculiarities characterizing the different components of rescue and planning activities of the pre-emergence emergency for the interventions themselves.
At the same time, it provides students with relevant knowledge: the main issues related to different scenarios of risk, natural and man-made (seismic, hydrogeological, industrial, NBCR / nuclear, biological, chemical, radiological, forest fires, transport, ...) and characterizing civil protection activities (such as population information, resilience, alerting, training) and the Unional Civil Protection Mechanism.
Capacity to apply Knowledge and Understanding.
The student will have to acquire the following professional skills: ability to carry out emergency event analysis, to understand what types of activities are being put into practice in the emergency phase based on the acquired knowledge, and taking into account that each emergency presupposes its own magnitude manifests itself with characteristics from time to time different.
Transversal Skills.
Comparing with civil protection experts and the drafting of reports help to improve both the ability to learn and judge autonomously, and the communicative ability that also comes from group work.

Lo studente discute durante le lezioni, singolarmente e/o per piccoli gruppi, le relazioni concordate annualmente.
L’esame viene condotto in forma orale, finalizzato da un lato alla verifica della conoscenza da parte dello studente delle attività caratterizzanti i modelli di intervento del sistema della protezione civile e dall’altro alla analisi di eventi emergenziali per individuare gli interventi necessari da attuarsi nella fase della gestione dell’emergenza.
Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.
Nella prova orale lo studente dovrà dimostrare di conoscere principi e metodologie delle attività di protezione civile in emergenza, nonché di aver acquisito conoscenze di base sulle principali problematiche dei differenti scenari di rischio.
Criteri di misurazione dell'apprendimento.
Il voto è attribuito in trentesimi. L’esame si intende superato quando il voto è maggiore o uguale a 18. È prevista l’assegnazione del massimo dei voti con lode (30 e lode).
Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.
Il voto relativo all'insegnamento "coordinamento e gestione delle emergenze":
viene attribuito sommando alla valutazione della prova orale quella della relazione/i (quest’ultima fino ad un massimo di due punti). La lode viene attribuita quando il punteggio ottenuto dalla precedente somma superi il valore 30 e contemporaneamente lo studente abbia dimostrato piena padronanza della materia.
Voto complessivo "gestione integrata dell'emergenza" viene invece attribuito operando attraverso la media dei 2 corsi integrati.
Learning Evaluation Methods.
The student discusses the relationships agreed each year with the lessons, individually and / or small groups.
The examination is conducted in an oral way, aimed at verifying the student's knowledge of the activities that characterize the civil protection intervention models and, on the other hand, the analysis of emergency events to identify the necessary interventions in the phase of emergency management.
Learning Evaluation Criteria.
In the oral exam, the student must demonstrate knowledge of the principles and methodologies of civil emergency protection activities as well as acquire basic knowledge of the main problems of different risk scenarios.
Learning Measurement Criteria.
The vote is given in thirtieths. Examination will be passed when the vote is greater than or equal to 18. It is expected that the maximum number of votes will be awarded with praise (30 and praise).
Final Mark Allocation Criteria.
The vote on "coordination and management of emergencies" teaching:
is assigned by adding the oral test to the evaluation of the oral test (the latter up to a maximum of two points). Praise is attributed when the score obtained from the previous sum exceeds the value of 30 and at the same time the student has demonstrated full mastery of the subject.
Overall rating "Integrated Emergency Management" is instead attributed by working through the average of the 2 integrated courses.
