MODALITA' DI SVOLGIMENTO DEL CORSO
Se sarà possibile il corso verrà svolto in maniera interattiva. Gli studenti dovranno venire a lezione con tutto il materiale linguistico previsto e pronti ad interagire il più possibile con l’insegnante, sforzandosi di comunicare in lingua inglese. Se invece, causa pandemia, questo non fosse possibile, il corso verrà svolto online e sarà necessariamente strutturato in maniera diversa.
Interactive English lessons, taught using both English and Italian languages. Students are expected to come to the lessons with the required materials, ready and willing to interact with the teacher, as far as possible in English. If, due to the pandemic, classroom teaching is not possible, the course will be taught online.
Al termine del corso gli studenti avranno raggiunto il livello B1. Saranno in grado di affrontare l’esame PET della Cambridge.
Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.
Al termine del corso gli studenti saranno in grado di comprendere brevi testi che leggono e ascoltano e sapranno anche esprimersi in inglese, scrivendo brevi email e lettere informali, e parlando di argomenti della nostra quotidianità.
Competenze trasversali.
Le esercitazioni che avranno luogo durante il corso consentiranno agli studenti di migliorare non solo le loro competenze nelle quattro abilità linguistiche (lettura, ascolto, scrittura, parlato) ma anche le abilità logico-cognitive.
Knowledge and Understanding.
The purpose of the course is to bring all the students up to B1 level of English, and to prepare them to take the Cambridge PET exam, should they wish to obtain an internationally recognized certificate.
Capacity to apply Knowledge and Understanding.
At the end of the course the students will be able to understand short texts that they read or hear, and they will be able to express themselves in English, writing short emails and informal letters, and speaking about everyday topics.
Transversal Skills.
The exercises that the students will carry out throughout the course will allow them not only to improve their competences in the four skills of language learning (reading, listening, writing, speaking), but also their cognitive and logical abilities.

L'esame consiste in una prova orale e scritta.
Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.
Nel corso dell'esame gli studenti dovranno dimostrare di avere acquisto una solida conoscenza di base della lingua inglese e di aver sviluppato la capacità di usare quella conoscenza al livello comunicativo
Criteri di misurazione dell'apprendimento.
Il voto verrà espresso in trentesimi. Lo studente supererà l'esame se otterrà almeno 18. È
prevista l’assegnazione del massimo dei voti con lode (30 e lode).
Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.
Il voto finale verrà calcolato in base ai voti assegnati alle varie prove (ascolto, scrittura, lettura, parlato).

Learning Evaluation Methods.
The exam will consist of both written and oral exams.
Learning Evaluation Criteria.
The students are expected to show that they have gained a solid basic knowledge of the English language and that they are able to use that knowledge to communicate successfully.
Learning Measurement Criteria.
Positive grades: from 18 to 30. Cum laude can be bestowed to outstanding performance.
Final Mark Allocation Criteria.
The final mark will be calculated by taking into consideration the marks of all the separate papers ( reading, writing, listening, speaking)
IN THE CASE OF THE EXAMS HAVING TO BE CARRIED OUT ONLINE DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, THE TYPE OF EXAM MAY HAVE TO BE MODIFIED
