L’insegnamento ha la finalità di consentire allo studente di conoscere le basi relative alla gestione dei progetti nell’ambito di un’organizzazione sia pubblica che privata. Una particolare enfasi verrà posta sul funzionamento dei progetti di natura informatica. A tal fine, durante il corso verranno erogati i contenuti della certificazione Scrum SMC (Scrum Master Certified), una delle certificazioni leader nel contesto del Project Management nell’informatica, nonché i contenuti della certificazione CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) di PMI (Project Management Institute), la certificazione di base più diffusa a livello internazionale per i project manager operanti in qualsiasi settore.
Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.
Lo studente sarà in grado di lavorare in team con altri colleghi al fine di simulare la gestione di due progetti che gli consentiranno di mettere in pratica le conoscenze via via acquisite. In particolare, ciascun team dovrà simulare la realizzazione di un progetto informatico scelto a piacere utilizzando le conoscenze previste dalla certificazione SCRUM SMC, nonché la realizzazione di un progetto di qualsivoglia natura scelto a piacere utilizzando le conoscenze previste dalla certificazione CAPM di PMI.
Competenze trasversali.
Il corso è fortemente basato sulla realizzazione di progetti in gruppo e sul brainstorming. Questo favorisce lo sviluppo di varie competenze trasversali, quali la capacità di lavorare in gruppo, la gestione dei conflitti, la comunicazione efficace, la capacità di ascolto e di sintesi di idee differenti. La necessità, per ciascun gruppo, di individuare due contesti applicativi reali su cui simulare la realizzazione dei progetti, assieme alla presenza delle sessioni di brainstorming, favorirà, la capacità, da parte degli studenti, di confrontarsi con scenari molto stimolanti, consentendo loro di sperimentare in anticipo un modus operandi tipico del mondo del lavoro.
Knowledge and Understanding.
This course aims at providing students with an understanding of the basics of project management in both public and private organizations. A particular emphasis will be placed on the management of projects regarding Information Technology. To this end, during the course, the contents of the Scrum SMC (Scrum Master Certified) certification, one of the leading certifications in the context of Project Management in Information Technology, will be provided, as well as the contents of the CAPM (Certified Associated in Project Management) certification of PMI (Project Management Institute), the most widespread basic certification at international level for project managers operating in any sector.
Capacity to apply Knowledge and Understanding.
Students will be able to work in team with other colleagues in order to simulate the management of two projects that will allow them to put into practice the knowledge acquired over time. In particular, each team will have to simulate the realization of an Information Technology project, chosen at will, by using the knowledge required by the SCRUM SMC certification, as well as the realization of a project of any nature, chosen at will, by using
the knowledge required by the CAPM certification of PMI.
Transversal Skills.
This course is strongly based on group projects and brainstorming. This promotes the development of various transversal skills, such as the ability to work in a team, conflict management, effective communication, the ability to listen to and synthesize different ideas. The need, for each group, to identify two real application contexts on which it must simulate the implementation of projects, together with the presence of brainstorming sessions, will promote the ability of students to deal with very challenging scenarios, allowing them to experience in advance a modus operandi typical of the job’s world.

L’esame prevede la realizzazione di due tesine e una prova orale in cui si discuteranno le tesine realizzate e verranno approfonditi gli aspetti teorici che ad esse si riferiscono. Le tesine, da svolgersi in gruppo, riguarderanno la simulazione della gestione di due progetti da effettuarsi applicando, rispettivamente, le linee guida del PMBOK di PMI e quelle di SCRUM. Durante il corso verranno condotte delle sessioni di brainstorming dove ciascun gruppo presenterà il proprio lavoro e gli altri gruppi potranno intervenire per osservazioni, suggerimenti, etc.
Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.
Per superare l'esame lo studente deve dimostrare, attraverso i report, di aver compreso i concetti fondamentali del corso e di aver acquisito le competenze contenute nel PMBOK e nello SBOK.
La valutazione massima è attribuita agli studenti che dimostrano un'ottima conoscenza dei contenuti dei due Body of Knowledge e un'ottima capacità di applicarli a due casi di studio, uno per Body.
Criteri di misurazione dell'apprendimento.
Viene attribuito un voto in trentesimi con eventuale lode
Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.
Il voto complessivo dipende principalmente dalla qualità dei report e dal contributo che lo studente dimostrerà di aver dato per la loro realizzazione nonchè dalla padronanza sugli argomenti del corso che lo studente dimostrerà durante la prova orale.
Learning Evaluation Methods.
The examination involves the production of two reports and an oral test in which the reports produced will be discussed, and the theoretical aspects referring to them will be examined in depth. The reports, to be carried out in groups, will cover the simulation of the management of two projects to be carried out by applying, respectively, the guidelines of the PMBOK of PMI and those of SCRUM. During the course, brainstorming sessions will be conducted, where each group will present its work and the other ones propose observations, suggestions, etc.
Learning Evaluation Criteria.
To pass the exam, the student must demonstrate, through the produced reports, to have understood the basic concepts of the course and to have acquired the skills contained in the PMBOK and the SBOK.
The maximum assessment is given to students who demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the contents of the two Bodies of Knowledge and an excellent ability to apply them to two case studies, one for each Body.
Learning Measurement Criteria.
A score in thirtieths is given, possibly cum laude.
Final Mark Allocation Criteria.
The overall score depends mainly on the quality of the reports, on the contribution that the student will provide to their realization, as well as on the knowledge of the topics of the course that the student will show during the oral exam.
