Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology of the respiratory and cardio-circulatory system, physics of gases. Basic knowledge of pharmacology.
Lectures related to anesthesia, resuscitation and management of particular clinical situations in urgent or routine situations.
Cardiologiche, pneumologiche, nefrologiche.
Students must get to know the basics of anesthesia and resuscitation. In particular, they will have to understand the pathophysiological mechanisms of the oxygen consumption / availability ratio, its alterations that lead to a decompensation of the various organs up to multi-organ failure and how this relationship can be monitored. Then the critical patient therapy will be addressed and the support of vital functions is implemented. Finally, we will know the principles of anesthesia and the drugs used in anesthesia and the management of both acute and chronic pain.
Students at the end of the course will recognize the initial critical issues that can intervene in patients hospitalized in the wards to be able to intervene quickly. They will also know which treatments support vital functions and the procedures performed under anesthesia.
Cardiology, pneumology, nephrology.

The exam will be oral, the student will have the opportunity to bring a topic to taste on which further questions will be asked by the teacher
The questions will be formulated so that the student can demonstrate that he has sufficient knowledge of the subject.
The final vote will be in thirtieths
In order to have the sufficiency it will be necessary to demonstrate the ability to connect the arguments to each other, demonstrating capacity for reasoning and constructive criticism.
