-applicare le nozioni acquisite relativamente alla chimica generale, alla chimica organica e al chimismo dei gruppi funzionali per affrontare i vari ambiti professionali;
At the end of the course the student is exspected to know the basic concepts of general chemistry, the basic principles of organic chemistry, the chemistry of functional groups, and the main reaction mechanisms of organic compounds. The student is exspected to know the mechanisms that contribute to the homeostasis in human.
At the end of the course the student should be able to:
-apply knowledge and understanding. The student should be able to apply the notions acquired relative to general chemistry, organic chemistry and chemistry of functional groups in order to tackle the various professional fields;
-understand the international scientific literature and independently evaluate the reported scientific data.
Acquired skills will represent the basic elements, which are essential for the study of biochemistry, physiology and pathology.
In addition at the end of the course the student is expected to have acquired professional communication skills for an effective interactions with colleagues and Faculty.

(https://www.univpm.it/Entra/Accoglienza_diversamente_abili )”.
Nelle colloquio lo studente dovrà dimostrare di:
- conoscere le nozioni fondamentali della chimica generale;
- conoscere i principi basilari della chimica organica;
Oral examinations are scheduled for the subjects of the three modules, which are part of the integrated course.
For students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (DSA),
who have requested support
to the Disability/DSA Info Point of the University, the exam will be adapted according to the University guidelines
(https://www.univpm.it/Entra/Accoglienza_diversamente_abili ).
In oral examination, the student must demonstrate that he/she:
- knows the fundamentals of general chemistry;
- knows the basics of organic chemistry;
- knows the chemistry of functional groups as well as the main reaction mechanisms of organic compounds.
Critical thinking skills will also be assessed, as well as the quality of presentation and the use of specific language.
The final mark is expressed in thirtieths and the exam is passed when the mark is higher than or equal to 18 in each of the oral tests for the two modules. Conferment of the highest marks with honours is expected.
The final mark is attributed through the average of the results obtained in the oral exams relating to the two modules.
Honors are awarded when the student demonstrates full mastery of the subject, in relation to both modules covered by the oral exams.
