biomedico.
At the end of the course, the student will have to know and understand the morphology, that is the structural and functional organization of the human body at the macroscopic, microscopic and ultrastructural level of the systems and organs that compose it.
At the end of the course, the student must: 1) possess the ability to connect the macroscopic, microscopic and ultrastructural organization of systems and organs with the corresponding functions; 2) link the macroscopic structure of organs and systems with basic notions of
surface anatomy and topographical, radiological and clinical anatomy; 3) to identify and interpret anatomical regions and structures.
Autonomy of judgment: at the end of the course, the student will have the ability to integrate his/her anatomical knowledge,
managing its complexity, with data on physiology, pathophysiology and physical and instrumental semeiotics.
Communication skills: at the end of the course the student will have the ability to describe and explain the normal morphology and structure of the human body.
Learning skills: at the end of the course, the student will have acquired the ability to update independently on
contents of human anatomy, using the methods of updating the scientific investigation in the biomedical field.
The contents of the Anatomy course are listed in the individual teaching modules.
Between the first and second year, an ongoing, non-compulsory, written test is scheduled to evaluate the preparation achieved by the student regarding the musculoskeletal system.
The final exam consists of an oral interview and focuses on the entire anatomy program and also involves observation, discussion and recognition under the optical microscope of microscopic preparations of the main organs of the human body.
For students with disabilities/invalidities or specific learning disorders (DSA), who have duly requested support to take the specific exam at the Disability/DSA Info Point of the University. The exam methods will be adapted in light of the provisions of the University guidelines (https://www.univpm.it/Entra/Accoglienza_diversamente_abili)
The assessment is based on the student's ability to describe the morphology of an organ in an orderly, correct and organic way and to grasp the macroscopic and microscopic aspects that characterize its function, as well as its topographical relationships with the adjacent organs and anatomical structures.
Learning is measured on the basis of completeness and clarity of presentation, on the ability to make anatomical-functional connections and on the ability to correlate the macroscopic and microscopic anatomy of a given organ with its vascularization, innervation and organogenetic development.
The final grade is awarded out of thirty. The exam is considered passed when the grade is greater than or equal to 18
Score 29-30 and praise: the student has a VERY GOOD knowledge of the subject, excellent communication skills and masters the medical-scientific language.
Score 26-28: The student has a GOOD knowledge of the subject and exposes the topics clearly using a
appropriate medical-scientific language.
Score 22-25: The student has a DECENT knowledge of the subject and exposes the topics in a fairly clear with a decent property of language.
Score 18-21: the student has the MINIMUM knowledge of the subject and exposes the topics in a sufficiently clear.
Exam not passed: the student DOES NOT HAVE THE MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE required of the main contents of the teaching.
