Internship
Internship
The internship aims to consolidate the students’ preparation by means of a hands-on experience in a public or private work environment (technical offices, professional firms, businesses) or by an in-depth theoretical, experimental study or research in the academic field. In all cases the activity is supervised by an academic tutor. The internship enables the students to implement their knowledge and to gain a better understanding of the subjects studied during the degree course.
Depending on the topic chosen, the internship enables students to gain hands-on experience, to apply methods, tools and techniques and to develop their ability to analyse and process data when collaborating in research activities.
The internship also helps the students to become autonomous and more aware of their future professional role. It is also an opportunity for students to improve their skills in critical analysis and concise communication
The internship gives the students the opportunity to interact with other professionals, with public authorities and complex organisations. This experience also offers students the chance to practice and develop their technical communication skills, to improve their ability to research and process data, to become more sensitive to multi-disciplinary issues and to perfect their ability to study alone.
