Il corso si svolgerà attraverso lezioni frontali, a carattere teorico e pratico. Gli studenti dovranno essere pronto ad interagire il più possibile con l’insegnante, sforzandosi a comunicare in lingua inglese. La frequenza, sebbene non obbligatoria, è fortemente consigliata.
The course will be taught through both theoretical and practical lessons. Students should be ready and
willing to interact with the teacher in English. Attendance, while not compulsory, is highly recommended.
Al termine del corso gli studenti dovrebbero aver imparato le terminologie in lingua inglese relative agli argomenti affrontati.
Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.
Al termine del corso gli studenti dovrebbero essere in grado di comprendere testi che leggono e ascoltano e di esprimersi in inglese, sia a voce che per iscritto, riguardo agli argomenti affrontati.
Competenze trasversali.
Gli esercizi proposti durante il corso consentiranno agli studenti di migliorare non solo le loro competenze nelle quattro abilità linguistiche (lettura, ascolto, scrittura, parlato) ma anche le loro abilità logico-cognitive.
By the end of the course the students should have learnt terminology in
English referring to the topics studied.
Capacity to apply Knowledge and Understanding.
By the end of the course the students should be able to
understand texts that they read or hear, and to express themselves in both spoken and written English
about the topics covered in the lessons.
Transversal Skills.
The exercises that the students will carry out throughout
the course will allow them not only to improve their competences in the four skills of language learning
(reading, listening, writing, speaking), but also their cognitive ad logical abilities.

L'esame consiste in una prova scritta.Gli studenti dovranno scrivere due testi: uno più breve (una mail, un report o la descrizione di un grafico) e un tema più lungo inerente agli argomenti affrontati.
Per gli di studenti con disabilità/invalidità o disturbo specifico di apprendimento (DSA), che abbiano fatto debita richiesta di supporto per affrontare lo specifico esame di profitto all’Info Point Disabilità/DSA dell’Ateneo, le modalità di esame saranno adattate alla luce di quanto previsto dalle linee guida di Ateneo (https://www.univpm.it/Entra/Accoglienza_diversamente_abili).
Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.
Nel corso dell'esame gli studenti dovranno dimostrare di avere acquisto una solida conoscenza della
lingua inglese e degli argomenti affrontati.
Criteri di misurazione dell'apprendimento.
Il voto verrà espresso in trentesimi. Lo studente supererà l'esame se otterrà almeno 18. È prevista
l’assegnazione del massimo dei voti con lode (30 e lode).
Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.
Nell’attribuzione del voto finale, oltre all’esame verranno presi in considerazione la partecipazione
alle conversazioni in classe e anche lo svolgimento di alcuni compiti scritti durante il corso.
The exam will consist of a written test. The students will be asked to write two texts; a shorter one
which will be an email, a report or the description of a graph, table or chart, and a longer essay about one of the topics discussed.
For students with disabilities or Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) who have contacted the University Disability/SLD Info Point to request support for the specific curricular exam, please note that the way the exam is taken can be adapted in accordance with the University Guidelines (https://www.univpm.it/Entra/Accoglienza_diversamente_abili).
Learning Evaluation Criteria.
Students are expected to show that they have gained a solid knowledge of the English language and
of the topics covered.
Learning Measurement Criteria.
Positive grades: from 18 to 30. Cum laude can be bestowed to outstanding performance
Final Mark Allocation Criteria.
In assigning the final grade, in addition to the exam, participation in class conversations and the
completion of some written assignments during the course will be taken into consideration.

The lecturer will provide the teaching materials, either before or after the lessons.
Tutti i materiali didattici (slide, file, link ecc.) saranno resi disponibili sulla piattaforma Moodle.
Le lezioni saranno svolti contemporaneamente in presenza e a distanza sulla piattaforma TEAMS.
All the teaching materials (slides, files, links etc.) will be made available on Moodle.
The lessons will be held in the classroom and live streamed on TEAMS.
