Sono utili le conoscenza di base dell’Arboricoltura, Agronomia, della Frutticoltura e Orticoltura.

Il corso è organizzato con lezioni frontali, utilizzando presentazioni in power point (6 CFU), esercitazioni in laboratorio e uscite didattiche presso aziende frutticole, orticole e florovivaistiche con orientamento sociale (3 CFU).
All’interno della piattaforma Moodle del corso sono disponibili: il materiale didattico strutturato in unità di apprendimento, i risultati del test di valutazione e informazioni varie.
The course is organized with lectures, using power point presentations (6 credits), laboratory exercises and field trips to fruit, horticultural and floricultural companies with a social orientation (3 credits).

L’insegnamento permette agli studenti di acquisire adeguate conoscenze sulla capacità di analisi delle scelte che interessano la filiera di produzione frutticola, floricola orticola e vivaistica all’interno di aziende con un orientamento sociale. Inoltre, il corso si propone di introdurre gli studenti alle problematiche che si devono affrontare nella realizzazione di orti a scopi sociali, terapici, scolastici ecc.; far conoscere lo stato dell’arte dell’ortoterapia nella ricerca internazionale
Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.
L’insegnamento si propone di introdurre gli studenti alle problematiche della coltivazione di alcune specie da frutto (piccoli frutti e fragola), coltivazione floricole e vivaismo ornamentale, l’importanza di una progettazione che sia di supporto ad un lavoro interdisciplinare dello staff: medico, infermieristico, amministrativo, psicologico, sociologico e degli educatori. Inoltre lo studio teorico e le attività pratiche evidenzieranno il valore di una progettazione di tipo partecipativo che coinvolge attivamente tutti gli stakeholders (impiegati, partner, clienti/pazienti, cittadini e i fruitori finali) nel processo di progettazione in modo da assicurare che le loro necessità vengano attese.
Competenze trasversali.
i) autonomia di giudizio: individuare le informazioni necessarie per gestire le principali scelte nell’organizzazione delle produzioni frutticole, floricole orticole e vivaistiche e nella realizzazione di orti sociali e/o terapeutici;
ii) trasferire in modo chiaro ed esauriente informazioni, idee, problemi e relative soluzioni tecniche a interlocutori, specialisti e non, rappresentativi delle diverse e specifiche competenze coinvolte nella gestione di un’azienda che opera nel sociale (psicologi, operatori sociali ecc.).
Knowledge and Understanding.
The course allows students to acquire adequate knowledge on the ability to analyze the choices that affect the fruit, flower, horticultural and nursery production chain within companies with a social orientation. The course aims to introduce students to the problems of growing some fruit species (small fruits and strawberries), flower growing and ornamental nursery, the importance of a design that supports the interdisciplinary work of the staff: doctor, nursing, administrative, psychological, sociological and educators. Furthermore, the theoretical study and practical activities will highlight the value of participatory design which actively involves all stakeholders (employees, partners, clients/patients, citizens and end-users) in the design process in order to ensure that their needs are met. waited.

independence of judgement: identifying the information necessary to manage the main choices in the organization of fruit, flower, horticultural and nursery production and in the creation of social and/or therapeutic gardens;

Il corso è svolto in codocenza. Il programma suddiviso tra i docenti comprende una parte che riguarda la Florofrutticoltura e l'orticoltura ai fini sociali.
Florofrutticoltura
Il corso illustra le caratteristiche fondamentali del settore frutticolo e florovivaistico esaminando alcuni casi-studio relativi alle specie frutticole e floricole coltivate in serra e/o in campo.
Verranno illustrati i cicli di produzione e tecnica colturale dei piccoli frutti (Fragola, Lampone, Mirtillo, Rovo ecc.) in pieno campo e in coltura protetta programmata (2 CFU).
I cicli di produzione riguardanti alcune specie floricole (Crisantemo, Lilium ecc.) e vivaistiche (Alloro, Oleandro, Pittosporo, ecc.) maggiormente coltivate nella Regione Marche (3 CFU).
Gestione dell’irrigazione e della fertirrigazione in coltura in suolo, serra e contenitore (1 CFU).
Sono previste inoltre esercitazioni sulla propagazione delle specie trattate.
Sono previste visite guidate presso aziende frutticole e florovivaistiche.
Orticoltura sociale.
- Le differenti tipologie di orti per finalità sociali: orti urbani, scolastici, sociali, terapici ecc. I benefici della terapia orticolturale e dei giardini terapeutici nella ricerca internazionale. Conoscere le disabilità per progettare orti a scopo terapico. Legislazione italiana (0,5 CFU)
- L’importanza di una programmazione e di un approccio partecipativo ed integrato in un’equipe di professionisti (medici, psicologi, educatori, insegnanti ecc.). Specificità dell’approccio terapeutico ri/abilitativo orticolturale. Il gruppo e l’approccio orticolturale. Le terapie complementari all’orticoltura. Caso di studio delle principali specie orticole utilizzate nella realizzazione di orti con scopi sociali (1 CFU).
- Fase di progettazione: l’orto come luogo ludico ricreativo e di aggregazione. Scelta delle colture più adatte. Scelta del metodo di coltivazione (sinergico, biodinamico, biologico, convenzionale e integrato). Camminamenti. Parcelle. Altre zone di servizio. Esercitazioni: progettazione di un orto con finalità sociali. Prove pratiche (1,5 CFU).
The course is conducted in co-lecture. The program divided among the teachers includes a part concerning floriculture and horticulture for social purposes.
Floriculture
The course illustrates the fundamental characteristics of the fruit and flower sector by examining some case studies relating to fruit and flower species grown in greenhouses and/or in the field.
The production cycles and cultivation techniques of small fruits (strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, bramble, etc.) in open field and in programmed protected cultivation (2 credits) will be illustrated.
The production cycles concerning some flower species (Chrysanthemum, Lilium etc.) and nurseries (Alloro, Oleander, Pittosporo, etc.) mostly cultivated in the Marche Region (3 credits).
Management of irrigation and fertigation in soil, greenhouse and container culture (1 CFU).
There will also be exercises on the propagation of the treated species.
Guided visits to fruit and flower farms are planned.
Social horticulture.
- The different types of gardens for social purposes: urban, school, social, therapeutic gardens, etc. The benefits of horticultural therapy and therapeutic gardens in international research. Know the disabilities to design gardens for therapeutic purposes. Italian legislation (0.5 ECTS)
- The importance of planning and a participatory and integrated approach in a team of professionals (doctors, psychologists, educators, teachers, etc.). Specificity of the horticultural re/habilitative therapeutic approach. The group and the horticultural approach. Complementary therapies to horticulture. Case study of the main horticultural species used in the creation of gardens with social purposes (1 CFU).
- Planning phase: the garden as a place for recreation and aggregation. Choosing the most suitable crops. Choice of cultivation method (synergistic, biodynamic, organic, conventional and integrated). Walkways. Parcels. Other service areas. Exercises: designing a vegetable garden with social purposes. Practical tests (1.5 credits).
La verifica finale sarà basata su un test scritto (facoltativo) e/o prova orale.

Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.
Per superare la prova, lo studente dovrà dimostrare di possedere una complessiva conoscenza dei contenuti, esposti in maniera sufficientemente corretta con utilizzo di adeguata terminologia tecnica, e di essere in grado di affrontare ragionamenti deduttivi che gli consentano di realizzare opportuni collegamenti all’interno della materia e di averne acquisito una completa padronanza.

Attribuzione del voto finale in trentesimi.
Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.
La prova scritta (facoltativa), per entrambi i moduli, comprenderà 30 domande a risposta aperta e ad ognuna verrà attribuito un punteggio massimo di 10 punti. Il voto finale verrà espresso in trentesimi. La prova orale, per entrambi i moduli, sarà articolata su tre quesiti, ognuno dei quali valutabile con un punteggio fra 0 e 10 punti. Qualora lo studente intenda sostenere entrambe le prove (scritto e orale) il voto finale deriverà dalla media dei due risultati.
La votazione finale scaturirà dalla media ponderata (in base ai CFU) delle due votazioni dei singoli esami. La lode verrà attribuita agli studenti che, avendo conseguito la valutazione massima, abbiano dimostrato la completa padronanza dei due moduli della materia.

The final assessment will be based on a written test (optional) and/or oral exam.

Learning Evaluation Criteria.
To pass the test, the student must demonstrate that he has an overall knowledge of the contents, presented in a sufficiently correct manner with the use of adequate technical terminology, and that he is able to deal with deductive reasoning that allows him to make appropriate connections within the subject and to have acquired a complete mastery of it.
Learning Measurement Criteria.
Attribution of the final grade in thirtieths.
Final Mark Allocation Criteria.
The written test (optional), for both modules, will include 30 open-ended questions and each will be assigned a maximum score of 10 points. The final grade will be expressed out of thirty. The oral exam, for both modules, will be divided into three questions, each of which can be evaluated with a score between 0 and 10 points. If the student intends to take both tests (written and oral), the final mark will derive from the average of the two results.
The final grade will result from the weighted average (based on the credits) of the two grades of the individual exams. Honors will be awarded to students who, having achieved the maximum evaluation, have demonstrated complete mastery of the two modules of the subject.
