Livello d’entrata (CEFR) B1+.
Il corso di inglese livello avanzato presuppone una conoscenza intermedia della lingua inglese. Gli studenti a livello principiante o post-principiante potranno sia accedere al software disponibile nella Mediateca CSAL della Facoltà di Economia che accedere ai corsi su Moodle per studiare in autoapprendimento per colmare le eventuali lacune nella preparazione.
Entry level B1+ CEFR.
In order to follow the Advanced English Language Course students should already have an intermediate knowledge of English. Beginners or False Beginners will need to use the self-study material in the CSAL Self-study Centre at Villarey (Faculty of Economics) and /or use the courses on Moodle to improve their English language skills.
Il corso verrà svolto attraverso lezioni frontali in presenza e sincrone su TEAMS, organizzate dal CSAL, a contenuto sia teorico sia pratico. Inoltre, per facilitare lo studio individuale, è previsto l’utilizzo della piattaforma e-learning.
The course will consist of face to face lessons, synchronous on TEAMS, organized by the University Language Centre, concentrating on both practical and theoretical elements of the language. In order to assist the students in self study, the use of the e-learning platform is foreseen.
Il corso mira al raggiungimento del livello B2 CEFR (intermedio-alto) della lingua inglese.
Gli studenti apprenderanno gli aspetti grammaticali e lessicali necessari per capire il senso globale di una tipologia testuale varia e per cogliere i nodi informativi principali di testi scritti di argomento familiare e di natura economica.
Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.
L’insegnamento permette agli studenti di comprendere ed esercitare le abilità linguistiche e di potenziare le conoscenze della struttura e uso della lingua inglese. Gli alunni devono capire il senso globale mentre ascoltano e leggono e di essere in grado a esprimersi in Inglese.
Competenze trasversali.
Al termine del corso gli studenti avranno acquisito delle basi necessari per affrontare qualsiasi materiali a livello B2. Queste capacità sono essenziali per capire materiale specifico nel settore economico.
Knowledge and Understanding.
The purpose of the course is to enable students to acquire the skills necessary for B2 level English.
The students will learn the language skills that enable them to understand the general meaning of various types of written texts and to recognize the significant points in both general and technical documents in the English language.
Capacity to apply Knowledge and Understanding.
The course gives the students the occasion to strengthen their linguistic abilities and develop their use of the language both from a grammatical point of view and a lexical one. The students have to understand the general meaning and specific information when reading and listening to a variety of materials and must be able to express themselves in English.
Transversal Skills.
The skills acquired during the course will give the student the necessary basis to deal with any material of a B2 nature. These abilities are essential to understand material which is specific to the economic sector.
Frontale, 22 ore
Il corso si base sulle abilità linguistiche ed è tenuto in lingua Inglese. Usando il format e strutture delle varie attività del Reading, testi cloze e l’uso della lingua, gli studenti saranno esposti ai principali argomenti grammaticali e lessicali inerenti a questo livello B2. Attività di ascolto saranno anche usate per rinforzare il lessico. Gli studenti possono anche usufruire del materiale nella mediateca del CSAL, disponibile anche sulla piattaforma e-learning (https://learn.univpm.it/ Corsi CSAL) .
Face to face, 22 hours.
The course is based on linguistic abilities and will be conducted in English. Using the format and tasks of various Reading activities, cloze texts and Use of English, the students will be exposed to the main grammar points and vocabulary specific to this level of the CEFR. Listening activities will also be used to reinforce certain vocabulary. The students will have access to the self study material in the University Language Centre, also available on the University e-learning site (Moodle) https://learn.univpm.it/ Corsi CSAL.
L’esame consiste in una prova scritta al computer, organizzata dal CSAL.
Per gli di studenti con disabilità/invalidità o disturbo specifico di apprendimento (DSA), che abbiano fatto debita richiesta di supporto per affrontare lo specifico esame di profitto all’Info Point Disabilità/DSA dell’Ateneo, le modalità di esame saranno adattate alla luce di quanto previsto dalle linee guida di Ateneo (https://www.univpm.it/Entra/Accoglienza_diversamente_abili).
Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.
Gli studenti dovranno dimostrare di aver raggiunto delle competenze del livello B2 nella capacità di comprendere e usare l’inglese. L’esame consiste di 3 esercizi: Reading (12 domande), Cloze Test (20 domande) e Listening (6 domande). Avranno 45 minuti per completare il tutto.
Criteri di misurazione dell'apprendimento.
La misurazione dell’apprendimento viene effettuata in base alle conoscenze dimostrate dallo studente. La valutazione viene considerata positiva e sufficiente quando la conoscenza degli argomenti richiesti viene soddisfatta con almeno il 60% di risposte corrette.
Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.
Il voto finale verrà attribuito sulla base dell’esito della prova scritta. Viene attribuito un voto in trentesimi, con eventuale lode.
Learning Evaluation Methods.
Examination: Computer based written exam organized by the University Language Centre.

Learning Evaluation Criteria.
During the exam, students must demonstrate they have reached the competences and skills required at B2 level to understand and use the language efficiently. The exam has 3 parts: Reading (12 questions), Cloze Test (20 questions) and Listening (6 questions). The test must be completed in 45 minutes.
Learning Measurement Criteria.
Assessment is based on the student’s knowledge of the subject. The minimum score required to pass the exam is 60%.
Final Mark Allocation Criteria.
The final score is determined based on the outcome of the written exam. The mark will be given as a thirtieth, with cum laude for exceptional performances.
