RISULTATI DI APPRENDIMENTO ATTESI LEARNING OUTCOMES
Knowledge and Understanding.

If you stop and think for a while you will realize that you face management challenges every day. When you organise a journey or you plan an exam, when you design and operate a project (even if very simple), you instinctively put on sequence a number of different tasks that help you to get the goals that you have. Project management helps to meet goals on time and on budget, optimising all the available resources (including humans resources) and constrains. Even if it's managing a first project or just tired of improvising, this course will give the tools and confidence to define smart goals, meet them, and capture lessons learned so future projects go even more smoothly.
Project management is a comprehensive resource of several modules that allows to build the skills to succeed in setting up and managing specific tasks.

Capacity to apply Knowledge and Understanding.

The module provides project management abilities applied in new or unfamiliar environments within broader (or multi-disciplinary contexts), including virtual environment. With this module the participant will be able to handle basic skills of project management and to get access to the international certification available on the market to be certified as Project Manager (http://www.pmi.org/).

Transversal Skills.

The intrinsic nature of the project management module will able to get ability to integrate knowledge and handle complexity, and formulate judgments with incomplete data when operating the different stages of a project management (i.e. define, organize, plan, operate, track and report).
Most of the real case practice will be made on class but individual and group assignment will deliver to the attendant the capacity to study in a manner that may be largely self-directed or autonomous.
Communication skills will be developed in presenting real case exercises on class. Presentation of outcomes/results are expected from all the attendants. Pro-active participation (via monologue) in class will support the process of under-pinning knowledge and rationale to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
