Il corso prevede 6 ore di lezione settimanali, per 11 settimane.

Il corso si propone di fornire approfondimenti teorici, istituzionali ed empiriche della economia internazionale. Al termine del corso gli studenti saranno in grado di comprendere le principali problematiche relative all'economia globale.
Al termine del corso gli studenti sapranno utilizzare i principali strumenti d’indagine della economia internazionale per comprendere le problematiche micro e macroeconomiche.
Applicazioni pratiche, confronti e discussioni, che avranno luogo durante il corso, consentiranno agli studenti di migliorare la loro autonomia e le loro competenze sotto il profilo della comunicazione, dell'apprendimento e dell'approccio critico.
The course aims to provide the theoretical, institutional and empirical analysis of international economics. At the end of the course students will be able to understand the main issues related to the global economy.
At the end of the course, students will be able to use the main international economic tools to understand the micro and macroeconomic issues.
Practical applications, comparisons and discussions that will take place during the course will enable students to improve their autonomy and skills in terms of communication, learning and critical approach.

Current Account Determination in a Production Economy with Uncertainty.

From Comparative Advantage to IRS models.
Offshoring - Theory and Evidence.
Migration - Theory and Evidence.

Gli studenti devono mostrare una buona conoscenza dell'analisi economica applicata al commercio internazionale.
Il voto verrà espresso in trentesimi. Lo studente supererà l'esame se otterrà almeno 18. È prevista l’assegnazione del massimo dei voti con lode (30 e lode).
L'esame si compone di due parti. Quella relativa al modulo I e al modulo II che contengono domande a scelta multipla e domande aperte per un massimo totale di 23 punti.
Altri max 10 punti provengono dai lavori in classe e dalle relazioni.
Exam (Written + oral) 70%. Duration of written part: 1 hour
Formative coursework 30%
Students have to show a solid knowledge of applied and theoretical analysis related to international
trades .
The vote will be expressed in thirties. The student will pass the exam if he or she gets at least 18. It is possible to obtain the maximum point (30 with distinction).
The written exam consists of 2 parts (Mod I and II).
The two parts consist in multiple-choice questions and open questions with a score from 0 to 23. Ohter max 10 points come from the formative coursework.
