Aims of the course is to provide students with:
General pathology:
-basic causes and mechanisms of the main human
diseases, such as those of the immune system and
those chronic-degenerative, as well as the
mechanisms implemented by the body in response
to different etiologic agents
Immunohaematological techniques:
- information on Immunological Techniques for diagnosis and basic knowledge on the main methods applied.
To understand the practical and theoretical basis for laboratory test selection and interpretation.
Ability to apply the acquired knowledge on the basic mechanisms of diseases and immunohaematological analyses both in the field of clinical diagnostics and in the fields of biomedical research.
Ability to interact effectively and efficiently with healthcare and clinical experts

Oral exam on general pathology and immunohaematological techniques.
Ability to respond in an exhaustive way to the questions, demonstrating critical ability on the various topics of the interview.
To answer to three general questions on the specific issues. Each answer will be given a maximum score of 10 points for a total of 30.
The final exam grade will be awarded in thirtieths (weighted average of the scores obtained in the two interviews related to the two modules). The final exam grade must be greater than or equal to 18. The award will be awarded in case the student demonstrates an excellent ability to respond in an exhaustive way to the questions,
