Students will develop an understanding of:
a) the role of the economic and political forces shaping the integration process;
b) the rationale of the single market and of the EMU;
c) the connections and relative functions of fiscal, monetary and structural policies.
Students will be able to apply the acquired analytical tools and critical abilities to specific integration and policy issues.
Critical readings, class discussions and presentations will enhance students’ general ability to analyze and communicate clearly complex economic questions and to pass informed judgements.

Students must demonstrate a good comprehension of the analytical tools and the ability to critically assess different viewpoints.
Positive grades: from 18 to 30. Cum laude can be bestowed to outstanding performance
The final grade of International Integration will be an average of the two modules.
Multiple choice questions: 1.5 points for each correct answer;
Open questions: 0-6 points each;
Final paper: 0-5 points.
Written test: 10 multiple choice questions; two open questions out of three.
