Il corso si propone di analizzare la nascita di nuove imprese in relazione ai mutati scenari di mercato conseguenti alla digital revolution ed alle opportunità che la stessa crea, ed alla sustainability evolution delle iniziative economiche, al fine di comprendere come questi influenzino l'attività d'impresa verso la creazione di veri e propri mercati e modelli di business che sono di per sé sostenibili.
The course aims to analyze the emergence of new companies in relation to the changed market scenarios resulting from the digital revolution and the opportunities that it creates, and to the sustainability evolution of economic initiatives, in order to understand how these influence the activity of enterprise towards the creation of real markets and business models that are sustainable in themselves.
Alla fine del corso lo studente sarà in grado di comprendere i passi necessari per la definizione delle nuove problematiche provenienti dal mercato. Avrà inoltre fatto esperienza, attraverso la casistica e le testimonianze di imprenditori, startupper e manager, dei concetti di sostenibilità e di economia circolare.
Al termine del corso lo studente sarà in grado di affrontare tutte le fasi di organizzazione e gestione di una start up, acquisendo conoscenze in tema di evoluzione del mercato economico-aziendale, modelli di organizzazione d’impresa, business planning.
La didattica frontale, il Project Work e la realizzazione di Pitch, consentiranno allo studente di: -affrontare i problemi strutturati: rappresentare efficacemente situazioni e problemi di lavoro di diversa natura – tecnici, operativi, relazionali, organizzativi – e ideare, proporre e pianificare strategie di azione utili a fronteggiarli;
- lavorare in gruppo e concertare e negoziare.
1. Knowledge and Understanding: The purpose of the course is to make the student capable to understand the steps necessary for the definition of new problems coming from the market. He will have full experience, through the casuistry and testimonies of entrepreneurs, startuppers and managers, of the concepts of sustainability and of the circular economy.
2. Applying knowledge and understanding: At the end of the course the student will be able to face all the phases of organization and management of a start up, acquiring knowledge on the evolution of the economic-business market, models of business organization, business planning.
3. Judgement, focus and communication skills: The frontal teaching, the Project Work and the realization of Pitch, will allow the student to: - address the structured problems: effectively represent situations and work problems of different nature - technical, operational, relational, organizational - and devise, propose and plan strategies of action useful to face them;
- work in groups and concert and negotiate.
1. Contenuti.
Dall’idea al progetto di impresa
- Nuove imprese e start up: specificità strategico-gestionali e relazioni con l'ambiente-mercato. Ciclo di vita di una start up.
- Le specificità economico-aziendali della start up.
- Fattori di successo e percorsi di sviluppo.
- Il business model ed i suoi elementi costitutivi.
Costruire il proprio Business
- Le operazioni della gestione ed i loro effetti economici e finanziari.
- Le valutazioni di convenienza nella scelta degli investimenti.
- Come si costruisce il business plan e si verifica la fattibilità economica e finanziaria del progetto imprenditoriale.
Conoscere le regole del gioco
- Elementi di Diritto societario. La normativa per le start up innovative; le nuove forme societarie.
Individuare e acquisire le risorse finanziarie
- Il ciclo del fabbisogno finanziario della start up.
- Strumenti di finanza innovativa: aspetti normativi e operativi.
Progettare e presentare l'idea agli investitori
- Pitch e presentazione della propria idea agli investitori.
2. Esercitazioni
Discussione di casi reali basati su interviste/testimonianze di imprenditori, startupper ed investitori e risoluzione delle criticità rilevate dagli stessi.
3. Esercitazioni in campo
Visite presso aziende innovative e sessioni di applicazione delle metodologie apprese ai progetti suggeriti dalle strutture ospitanti.

- New companies and start up: strategic-management specificity and relations with the environment-market. Life cycle of a start up.
- The economic-business specificities of the start up.
- Success factors and development paths.
- The business model and its constituent elements.
Building own business
- Management operations and their economic and financial effects.
- The evaluations of convenience in the choice of investments.
- How the business plan is constructed and the economic and financial feasibility of the business project is verified.
Know the rules of the game
- Elements of Company Law. The legislation for innovative start up; the new corporate forms.
Identify and acquire financial resources
- The cycle of the financial needs of the start up.
- Innovative finance tools: regulatory and operational aspects.
Design and present the idea to the investors
- Pitch and presentation of your idea to investors.
L'esame consiste in una prova scritta rappresentata da un lavoro di gruppo + colloquio orale individuale.
Nel corso dell'esame gli studenti dovranno dimostrare di avere acquisto una solida conoscenza degli elementi fondamentali relativi alla realizzazione critica di una impresa start up e del suo modello di business. Inoltre dovranno anche dimostrare di avere compreso come utilizzare gli strumenti finanziari e presentare le opportunità a potenziali investitori.
Il voto verrà espresso in trentesimi. Lo studente supererà l'esame se otterrà almeno 18. È prevista l’assegnazione del massimo dei voti con lode (30 e lode).
Alla prova scritta sarà attribuito un voto minimo 6 massimo 12. Alla prova orale la valutazione attribuita sarà da un minimo di 10 ad un massimo di 18.
Gli studenti che dimostreranno una critica, analitica, approfondita ed
esaustiva comprensione dei contenuti teorici e pratici del corso otterranno la lode.
Assessment methods for learning.
The exam consists of a written test represented by a work group+ individual oral interview.
. Evaluation criteria for learning.
During the exam, students will have to demonstrate that they have acquired a solid knowledge of the fundamental elements related to the critical realization of a start up company and its business model. They will also need to demonstrate that they understand how to use financial instruments and present opportunities to potential investors.
Learning measurement criteria.
The vote will be expressed in thirtieths. The student will pass the exam if obtains at least 18. It is expected to be awarded the highest marks with honors (30 cum laude).
. Criteria for the attribution of the final vote.
The written test will be assigned a minimum grade of 6 maximum 12. In the oral examination the evaluation will be awarded from a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 18.
Students who will demonstrate a critical, analytical, thorough and exhaustive understanding of the theoretical and practical contents of the course will get the praise.
