MODALITÀ DI SVOLGIMENTO DEL CORSO DEVELOPMENT OF THE COURSE

Il corso prevede 6 ore di lezione settimanali, per 11 settimane.

Conoscenze e comprensione.

Il corso si propone di fornire le basi teoriche, istituzionali ed empiriche della macroeconomia. Al termine del corso gli studenti saranno in grado di comprendere le principali problematiche relative alle politiche macroeconomiche.


Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.

Al termine del corso gli studenti sapranno utilizzare i principali strumenti d’indagine della macroeconomia per comprendere le problematiche macroeconomiche con particolare riferimento all’Italia e all’Unione Europea.


Competenze trasversali.

Applicazioni pratiche, confronti e discussioni, che avranno luogo durante il corso, consentiranno agli studenti di migliorare la loro autonomia e le loro competenze sotto il profilo della comunicazione, dell'apprendimento e dell'approccio critico.


Knowledge and Understanding.

The course aims to provide the theoretical, institutional and empirical basis of macroeconomics. At the end of the course students will be able to understand the main issues related to macroeconomic policies.


Capacity to apply Knowledge and Understanding.

At the end of the course, students will be able to use the main macroeconomic tools to understand the macroeconomic issues with particular reference to Italy and the European Union.


Transversal Skills.

Practical applications, comparisons and discussions that will take place during the course will enable students to improve their autonomy and skills in terms of communication, learning and critical approach.

MODALITÀ DI SVOLGIMENTO DELL'ESAME DEVELOPMENT OF THE EXAMINATION
Modalità di valutazione dell'apprendimento.

L’esame è unico per i due moduli e consiste in una prova scritta che, in casi particolari, può essere integrata da una prova orale. L’esame scritto si compone di due parti, una parte con domande a risposta multipla, una parte con domande a risposte aperte.


Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.

Nel corso dell'esame gli studenti dovranno dimostrare di avere acquisto una solida conoscenza dei principali modelli macroeconomici e delle istituzioni che governano le politiche economiche. Essi dovranno anche dimostrare di avere compreso come utilizzare i principali strumenti di analisi per la risoluzione dei problemi di politica economica.


Criteri di misurazione dell'apprendimento.

Il voto verrà espresso in trentesimi. Lo studente supererà l'esame se otterrà almeno 18. È prevista l’assegnazione del massimo dei voti con lode (30 e lode).


Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.

L’esame scritto si compone di 2 parti così valutate:
a) 12 domande a risposta multipla con un punteggio di 1.5 per ogni risposta esatta, -0.5 per ogni risposta errata e 0 per le mancate risposte.
b) 2 domande aperte con un punteggio compreso tra 0 e 7 per ciascuna domanda. Se il punteggio complessivo in questa parte risulta inferiore a 7 l’intera prova si considera non superata.
Gli studenti che otterranno un punteggio superiore a 30 e dimostreranno una capacità critica ed una esaustiva comprensione dei contenuti teorici e capacità di applicare gli stessi ai problemi rilevanti per la macroeconomia otterranno la lode.


Learning Evaluation Methods.

The exam is unique for the two modules and consists of a written test that, in exceptional cases, can be supplemented by an oral exam. The written exam consists of two parts, one part with multiple-choice questions, one part with open-ended questions.


Learning Evaluation Criteria.

During the exam, students will have to demonstrate that they have a solid knowledge of key macroeconomic models and institutions that govern economic policies. They will also have to show that they have understood how to use the main analytical tools to solve economic policy issues.


Learning Measurement Criteria.

The vote will be expressed in thirties. The student will pass the exam if he or she gets at least 18. It is possible to obtain the maximum point (30 with distinction).


Final Mark Allocation Criteria.

The written exam consists of 2 parts evaluated as follows:
a) 12 multiple-choice questions with a score of 1.5 for each correct answer, -0.5 for each wrong answer and 0 for missed responses.
b) 2 open questions with a score from 0 to 7 for each question. If the total score in this part is less than 7, the whole test is failed.
Students who will obtain a score of more than 30 and show a critical ability and a thorough understanding of the theoretical content and the ability to apply them to the major macroeconomic issues will get the distinction.
