Conoscenza della lingua Inglese a Livello B1 del QCER (Quadro Comune Europeo di Riferimento delle Lingue).
Knowledge of English at Level B1 + of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Il corso svilupperà le 4 abilità di Listening, Reading, Speaking e Writing necessarie per l’uso della lingua Inglese e per sostenere l’esame per ottenere la Certificazione Linguistica di Livello B2.
Il lavoro si svolgerà principalmente in aula tramite la lettura di testi, l’ascolto di audio ed inoltre conversazioni ed esercitazioni in coppia e di gruppo
Le lezioni a contenuto teorico saranno erogate anche in streaming attraverso il collegamento via Teams alla lezione erogata in aula (modalità telematica sincrona)
The course will develop the 4 Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing skills necessary for the use of the English language and to take the exam to obtain the B2 Level Language Certification.
The work will mainly take place in the classroom through the reading of texts, listening to audio, conversations and exercises in pairs and groups
The lessons will also be provided in streaming through the connection via Teams to the lesson delivered in the classroom (synchronous telematic mode)
Il corso mira al raggiungimento del Livello B2 del QCER e sarà propedeutico al conseguimento della certificazione Cambridge Assessment B2.
Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.
Al termine del corso gli studenti sapranno comprendere testi complessi, sia scritti che orali, su argomenti sia concreti che astratti. Sapranno inoltre svolgere una conversazione su un’ampia gamma di argomenti di vita quotidiana esprimendo la loro opinione ed infine produrre un testo chiaro e dettagliato.
Competenze trasversali.
Al termine del corso gli studenti avranno acquisito, in parte (Modulo I) o complessivamente (Modulo II), gli strumenti necessari per affrontare l’esame di certificazione Cambridge Assessment B2 First.
Knowledge and Understanding.
The course aims to achieve Level B2 of the CEFR and will be preparatory to the achievement of the Cambridge Assessment B2 certification.
Capacity to apply Knowledge and Understanding.
At the end of the course, students will be able to understand complex texts, both written and oral, on both concrete and abstract topics. They will also be able to carry out a conversation on a wide range of everyday topics expressing their opinion and finally producing a clear and detailed text.
Transversal Skills.
At the end of the course, students will have acquired, in part (Module I) or overall (Module II), the necessary tools to take the Cambridge Assessment B2 First certification exam.
Modulo I (3 CFU)
- Parte comune agli insegnamenti International Economics and Commerce, Management della Sostenibilità ed Economia Circolare, Data Science per l’Economia e le Imprese
Gli studenti si eserciteranno nelle seguenti attività:
- ascolto di testi tratti da lezioni, conferenze, trasmissioni radiofoniche, ecc. (Listening secondo la struttura dell’esame Cambridge Assessment B2 First)
- lettura di testi tratti da libri, giornali, ecc. (Reading e Use of English secondo la struttura dell’esame Cambridge Assessment B2 First)
- stesura di testi scritti: un articolo, un’email, una lettera, un report, una recensione, ecc. (Writing secondo la struttura dell’esame Cambridge Assessment B2 First)
- grammatica e lessico: revisione delle principali strutture grammaticali della lingua inglese a livello B2 e vocabulary inerente una vasta gamma di argomenti (alcune unità del libro di testo)
- Anche se la parte orale non è prevista all’esame, durante le lezioni si svolgeranno conversazioni in coppia e di gruppo in quanto necessarie per la conoscenza e l’uso della lingua e come rinforzo delle altre abilità
Modulo II (3 CFU)
- solo International Economics and Commerce
Gli studenti si eserciteranno nelle seguenti attività:
- ascolto di testi tratti da lezioni, conferenze, trasmissioni radiofoniche, ecc. (Listening secondo la struttura dell’esame Cambridge Assessment B2 First)
- lettura di testi tratti da libri, giornali, ecc. (Readinge Use of English secondo la struttura dell’esame Cambridge Assessment B2 First)
- conversazioni in coppia e in gruppo (Speaking secondo la struttura dell’esame Cambridge Assessment B2 First)
- stesura di testi scritti: un articolo, un’email, una lettera, un report, una recensione, ecc. (Writing secondo la struttura dell’esame Cambridge Assessment B2 First)
- grammatica e lessico: revisione delle principali strutture grammaticali della lingua inglese e vocabulary inerente una vasta gamma di argomenti (tutte le unità del libro di testo)
Module I (3 CFU)
- Common part of the courses International Economics and Commerce, Sustainability Management and Circular Economy, Data Science for Economy and Business
Students will practice the following activities:
- listening of texts taken from lectures, conferences, radio broadcasts, etc. (Listening according to the structure of the Cambridge Assessment B2 First exam)
- reading of texts taken from books, newspapers, etc. (Reading and Use of English according to the Cambridge Assessment B2 First exam structure)
- drafting of written texts: an article, an email, a letter, a report, a review, etc. (Writing according to the Cambridge Assessment B2 First exam structure)
- grammar and vocabulary: revision of the main grammatical structures of the English language at level B2 and vocabulary concerning a wide range of topics (some units of the textbook)
- Even if the oral part is not included in the exam, during the lessons there will be conversations in pairs and groups as necessary for the knowledge and use of the language and as a reinforcement of other skills
Module II (3 CFU)
- International Economics and Commerce only
Students will practice the following activities:
- listening of texts taken from lectures, conferences, radio broadcasts, etc. (Listening according to the structure of the Cambridge Assessment B2 First exam)
- reading of texts taken from books, newspapers, etc. (Reading and Use of English according to the Cambridge Assessment B2 First exam structure)

Modulo I: L'esame consiste in una prova scritta che ricalcherà il modello dell’esame per la certificazione B2. La prova consisterà in unListening, un Reading, un Writing + esercizi di Grammar e Vocabulary.
Modulo II: L’esame verrà registrato, sulla base della ‘Tabella Riconoscimento Certificazioni Internazionali’ della Facoltà, all’atto della presentazione da parte dello studente di un certificato a livello B2 o superiore emesso da uno degli enti riconosciuti nella tabella succitata. Per convalidare il proprio certificato, lo studente deve iscriversi ad uno degli appelli d’esame e presentarsi con il certificato in originale.
Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.
Modulo I: Gli studenti dovranno dimostrare di aver raggiunto competenze a livello B2 sia nella comprensione che nell’uso della lingua inglese.
Modulo II: L’esame verrà registrato, sulla base della ‘Tabella Riconoscimento Certificazioni Internazionali’ della Facoltà, all’atto della presentazione da parte dello studente di un certificato a livello B2 o superiore emesso da uno degli enti riconosciuti nella tabella succitata. Per convalidare il proprio certificato, lo studente deve iscriversi ad uno degli appelli d’esame e presentarsi con il certificato in originale.
Per gli studenti con disabilità/invalidità a Disturbo Specifico dell’Apprendimento (DSA) che abbiano fatto debita richiesta di supporto per affrontare lo specifico esame di profitto all'info Point Disabilità/DSA dell’Ateneo, le modalità di esame saranno adattate alla luce di quanto previsto dalle Linee Guida di Ateneo (https://www.univpm.it/Entra/Accoglienza_diversamente_abili)
Criteri di misurazione dell'apprendimento.
Modulo I: Il voto verrà espresso in trentesimi. Lo studente supererà l'esame se otterrà almeno 18. È prevista l’assegnazione del massimo dei voti con lode (30 e lode).
Modulo II: L’esame verrà registrato, sulla base della ‘Tabella Riconoscimento Certificazioni Internazionali’ della Facoltà, all’atto della presentazione da parte dello studente di un certificato a livello B2 o superiore emesso da uno degli enti riconosciuti nella tabella succitata. Per convalidare il proprio certificato, lo studente deve iscriversi ad uno degli appelli d’esame e presentarsi con il certificato in originale.
Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.
Modulo I: Il voto finale verrà attribuito sulla base dell’esito della prova scritta. La lode verrà attribuita agli studenti che dimostreranno un’ottima capacità nelle abilità linguistiche.
Modulo II: L’esame verrà registrato, sulla base della ‘Tabella Riconoscimento Certificazioni Internazionali’ della Facoltà, all’atto della presentazione da parte dello studente di un certificato a livello B2 o superiore emesso da uno degli enti riconosciuti nella tabella succitata. Per convalidare il proprio certificato, lo studente deve iscriversi ad uno degli appelli d’esame e presentarsi con il certificato in originale.
Learning Evaluation Methods.
Module I: The exam consists of a written test that will follow the exam model for B2 certification. The test will consist of a Listening, a Reading, a Writing + Grammar and Vocabulary exercises.
Module II: The exam will be recorded, on the basis of the Faculty 'International Certification Recognition Table', upon presentation by the student of a certificate at level B2 or higher issued by one of the recognized bodies in the aforementioned table. To validate their certificate, students must register for one of the exam sessions and present themselves with the original certificate.
Learning Evaluation Criteria.
Module I: Students must demonstrate that they have achieved B2 level skills in both understanding and use of the English language. Module II: The exam will be recorded, on the basis of the Faculty 'International Certification Recognition Table', upon presentation by the student of a certificate at level B2 or higher issued by one of the recognized bodies in the aforementioned table. To validate their certificate, students must register for one of the exam sessions and present themselves with the original certificate. Learning Measurement Criteria.
Module I: The vote will be expressed out of thirty. Students will pass the exam if they obtain at least 18. It is expected to be awarded the highest marks with honors (30 with honors).
Module II: The exam will be recorded, on the basis of the Faculty 'International Certification Recognition Table', upon presentation by the student of a certificate at level B2 or higher issued by one of the recognized bodies in the aforementioned table. To validate their certificate, students must register for one of the exam sessions and present themselves with the original certificate
Final Mark Allocation Criteria.
Module I: The final grade will be awarded on the basis of the outcome of the written test. Honors will be given to students who demonstrate excellent language skills.
Module II: The exam will be recorded, on the basis of the Faculty 'International Certification Recognition Table', upon presentation by the student of a certificate at level B2 or higher issued by one of the recognized bodies in the aforementioned table. To validate their certificate, students must register for one of the exam sessions and present themselves with the original certificate.
