This course is a hands on action learning course consisting of a simulation and cases.
La funzione manageriale della gestione logistica dei flussi di risorse impiegati dalle imprese e dei processi interni ad essi associati. Analisi di processo per conseguire efficacia ed efficienza. Strumenti per le fasi di pianificazione, gestione e calendarizzazione delle operazioni.
Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.
Capacità di risolvere problemi aziendali di natura logistica.
Competenze trasversali.
Capacità di integrare conoscenze gestionali su differenti funzioni gestire problemi specifici di ricerca applicata e presentazione di reporting.

The role of supply chain management and operations management within the firm; how process analysis can impact the effectiveness and efficiency of a firm; key tools that firms use in planning, managing, and scheduling within their supply chain.

Ability to integrate managerial knowledge and handle tasks such specific research and business presentation.
Utilizzo del software gestionale OMLS capace di simulare una varietà differenti ambienti manifatturieri. Lo studente è responsabile di tutte le decisioni gestionali di una particolare impresa virtuale necessarie a operare la produzione di specifici lotti su un calendario a base settimanale. La qualità delle decisioni assunte si riflette sui risultati economici di impresa racchiusi nel file prodotto da OMLS alla fine del periodo esercitato.
Analisi di processo. Si discuterà un problema legato a un processo produttivo da ripensare.
SCM Paper. Lavoro di gruppo su temi di supply chain e operations management.
OMLS - OMLS is a Windows based software program that is capable of simulating a variety of production environments. You will be responsible for making all managerial decisions required to operate the production facility for weekly time intervals. The quality of your decisions will be reflected in the results file generated by the program.
Process Improvement Case - There will be a Process Improvement case study.
Supply Chain Management Paper - This Is a group project, Each group Is responsible for submitting a research paper on a topic of greatest interest to you within the area of supply chain management and operations management. The goal of this assignment is not only to have you become more familiar with a supply chain topic but also for you to research how this topic has provide d competitive advantage for various companies.
La valutazione è effettuata durante e a fine corso, per la varietà delle modalità didattiche adottate.

Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.
Un esame finale e 3 progetti.
Criteri di misurazione dell'apprendimento.
Gradi sufficienti da 18 a 30. La lode può essere attribuita per straordinarie performance.
Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.
Punteggi massimi: 10 il primo progetto, 7.5 il secondo e terzo progetto, 5 punti l’esame finale.
Learning Evaluation Methods.
This course is a hands-on action learning course consisting of a simulation and cases. Tests consists of essay and short answer questions.

One exam and three projects.
Learning Measurement Criteria.
Positive grades from 18 to 30. Cum laude can be bestowed to outstanding performance.
Final Mark Allocation Criteria.
1° project 10 points, 2° and 3° 7.5 points, exam 5 points.
