Conoscenza della lingua inglese a livello B1 del QCER.
Knowledge of the English language at Level B1 of the CEFR.
Ogni lezione di Inglese è costituita indifferentemente da momenti di lezione frontale, in cui viene introdotto dalla docente l'argomento, seguiti da esercitazioni degli studenti del tipo lettura e comprensione, ascolto e comprensione, vocabolario, conversazione e grammatica, in un'ottica di attività laboratoriale tipica dell'insegnamento/apprendimento della lingua.
Each English lesson is made up of moments of lectures, in which the subject is introduced by the teacher, followed by exercises of the students such as reading and comprehension, listening and comprehension, vocabulary, conversation and grammar, that is laboratory activities typical of the teaching / learning of a language.
Il servizio di addestramento alla lingua inglese è una attività formativa offerta agli studenti dei corsi triennali della Facoltà di Ingegneria, con la finalità di incrementare il loro livello di conoscenza della lingua. Il servizio è espletato con l'ausilio di un laboratorio linguistico e si articola in trenta ore di didattica frontale.
Il servizio ha l'obiettivo di portare la conoscenza e la comprensione della lingua inglese degli studenti ad un livello comparabile al B2 CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), valutato da un'apposita commissione di docenti della Facoltà.
Capacità di applicare conoscenze e comprensione.
La conoscenza di una lingua dell'Unione Europea in generale, e della lingua inglese in particolare, è importante nel processo formativo degli studenti. Le conoscenze linguistiche sono applicate sia allo studio delle discipline ingegneristiche, per la consultazione di testi e di documentazione a diffusione internazionale, e sia per fruire di eventuali seminari, lezioni ed eventi offerti in lingua inglese.
Pertanto, il livello di conoscenza della lingua deve essere tale da consentire agli studenti un'agevole lettura di testi internazionali e la piena partecipazione alle attività culturali svolte in lingua inglese.

Competenze trasversali associate alla formazione linguistica derivano dalle maggiori capacità di relazioni internazionali degli studenti.
Knowledge and Understanding.
The service of training of the English language is an educational activity offered to the students of the three-year courses of the Faculty of Engineering, with the scope of increasing their level of knowledge of the language. This service is carried out with the help of a language laboratory and is composed of thirty hours of lessons.
This service has the aim to bring the knowledge and the understanding of the students' English language to a level comparable to the B2 CEFR ((Common European Frameworkof Reference for Languages), assessed by special commission of professors.
Capacity to apply Knowledge and Understanding.
The knowledge of a European Union language in general, and of the English language in particular, is important in the educational process of the students. The linguistic knowledge is applied both to the study of the engineering disciplines, for the consultation of texts and of documentation with an international circulation, and to benefit from seminars, lessons and events given in English.
Therefore, the level of knowledge of the language has to allow the students an easy reading of international texts and a full participation to the cultural activities developed in English.
Transversal Skills.
Cross competences associated to the linguistic training derive from the greater abilities of the students' international relations.
1) Grammatica: durante le lezioni si affronteranno gli aspetti grammaticali della lingua
2) Lessico: lessico specialistico del settore delle imprese e dell'ambito economico-manageriale tramite l'analisi di testi specifici reali (case studies).

(b) fusioni, acquisizioni e jont venture
(c) il commercio internazionale:import ed export, Incoterms, metodi di pagamento, la fatturazione
(d) la contabilità: I rendiconti finanziari

(f) la corrispondenza commerciale: ordini e reclami
(g)le banche: prodotti e servizi, filiali e banche online, il ruolo delle banche centrali
(h) il lavoro: lettera d’accompagnamento, CV, Europass, il colloquio di lavoro, il contratto

Nella prova scritta lo studente deve dimostrare di conoscere gli aspetti grammaticali dell'inglese, il lessico specialistico del suo settore di studi e i contenuti del programma svolto a lezione. Nella prova orale deve essere capace di comunicare in inglese in maniera autonoma
Criteri di valutazione dell'apprendimento.
La valutazione avviene tramite una prova scritta e una breve prova orale. La prova scritta è composta da esercizi prettamente grammaticali, domande del tipo scelta multipla e vero/falso sulla parte riguardante il lessico e domande aperte sugli argomenti del programma generale. La prova scritta sarà seguita da una breve conversazione in inglese
Criteri di misurazione dell'apprendimento.
Durante la prova d'esame viene valutata la correttezza grammaticale, la conoscenza del lessico specialistico e degli argomenti riguardanti il settore economico-aziendale nonché la padronanza della lingua a livello orale
Criteri di attribuzione del voto finale.
La votazione minima, pari a diciotto punti, è assegnata agli studenti che dimostrino sufficiente preparazione grammaticale e lessicale ed una conoscenza minima del programma svolto a lezione. La votazione massima, pari a trenta punti con lode, è assegnata agli studenti che dimostrino una padronanza completa della lingua sia scritta che orale e una conoscenza approfondita degli argomenti del programma generale.
Learning Evaluation Methods.
In the written examination, students must demonstrate the knowledge of the English grammar structures, the specialized vocabulary of their field of study and the contents of the programme. In the oral proof, they must be able to communicate in English fluently.
Learning Evaluation Criteria.
The final evaluation is assessed through a written proof and a brief conversation. The written proof consists of grammar exercises, multiple choice and true/false questions regarding the specialized vocabulary and open questions about the topics of the general programme. The written test will be followed by a brief conversation in English.
Learning Measurement Criteria.
In the written examination, students must demonstrate the knowledge of the English grammar structures, the specialized vocabulary of their field of study and the contents of the programme. In the oral proof, they must be able to communicate in English fluently
Final Mark Allocation Criteria.
The minimum passing mark of eighteen is given to the students who show a sufficient grammar and vocabulary preparation and a minimal knowledge of the programme. The highest mark of thirty with honors, is awarded to the students who show complete command of the English language, both written and oral, and a thorough knowledge of the topics of the general programme.
